  • Dan S

I’m sorry but Jeff Daniels for The Newsroom over Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad is a travesty. There’s no question who the best actor in a drama series is. Obviously they’re trying to be more inclusive by giving the award to someone else but Bryan Cranston is clearly the better actor. I’m certain he’ll win next year 1 more time for a very memorable role.

  • ReallyTired

Modern Family — Best Comedy? Really?? Over 30 Rock??

Who are the Vidiots who vote for these dumb things?

  • Tom

Clearly, the level of partisanship at this year’s Emmys rose to obscene levels. Tatiana Maslany should have received at least a nomination for her multiple roles in Orphan Black. Furthermore, there’s no reason a bomb like Political Animals should have received any of its five nominations. Fortunately, there were some god football games on other channels.

  • r0ckmypants

@Tom – “Furthermore, there’s no reason a bomb like Political Animals should have received any of its five nominations.”

Right, I forgot that quality and viewership ALWAYS go hand-in-hand.

  • Katherine

Just because it was a bomb doesn’t mean that the acting and writing on Political Animals wasn’t quite good. And it was hardly an unblemished view of the politics.

  • Leonard Kritiker

I’m glad House of Cards didn’t win best drama.
It is the PRIME TIME Emmy Awards and they no only did not air in prime time but not even on TV. There are already Daytime awards for non prime time shows. If they wanted to stay current, perhaps they should have a new awards show for online stuff, but Netflix should not be eligible.

  • ReallyTired

    @Leonard. I disagree.

  • Skylar James

Sarah Paulson and Jessica Lange were robbed

  • AllOfHerTw!st

Did Louis CK get shut out?

  • The Log Lady

Year after year, you can always count on the Emmys for the most bizarre results.

  • Jon

Vera Farmiga got robbed big time. To pick Claire Danes again was a damn joke

  • Jon

    @Dan S
What will Cranston win for Breaking Bad is done next week though i hope you are right. Do you think Vera Farmiga will win next year because to pick Claire Danes again would be an even bigger joke

  • rob60990

I’m shocked Modern Family won Best Comedy but who does Sofia Vergara have to flash to win an Emmy? She is the funniest actress on Modern Family.

  • Sam

Me Jeff Daniels. Me happy win Emmy. Me eat her with ketchup.

Seriously, Daniels is great in The Newsroom, and it’s nice to see him get the Best Actor in a Drama Emmy in what may be his only shot for it. Hamm’s gotta get it next year.

  • Flame

@AllOfHerTw!st: IIRC the show got a minor Emmy in the technical category, but Louis category went to Jim Parsons.

  • Zach

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Vera Farmiga and Zachary Quinto were all robbed

  • matt897

@Leonard, please come to the 21st century

  • JoNoy

All I have to say is that the American Horror Story series better get some recognition for this season within actors and actresses, because I have seen some great acting from both Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange.

  • Alienware

James Cromwell won an Emmy, that’s your recognition.

  • Anthony Rhody

How is this a full list of the winners? It’s about 25% of them!! Stop lying!
