    And so it begins. :-)

Great showing for the Blacklist. I was so sleepy last night after a busy day at work , so I fell asleep after about the first five minutes, but next week I will be sure to stay awake, LOL!!

At least The Blacklist did not adjust down.

FOX & NBC so far have shows that have been well sampled while CBS has underperformed. The new season is off to a great start. :D

  • Chris

Whoa Hostages! How low can you go?

  • Samunto

You’ve really got to hand it to feel-good The Voice!
And no downward adjustments for ‘The Blacklist’!

  • Survivor Fan

The Voice has its second highest rating since March, 12, 2012.

How I Met Your Mother (second episode- likely a 3.7 or 3.8) has its second highest rating since February, 2012.

  • Survivor Fan

Also, primetime ratings are SHARPLY UP year-to-year. This could be a good year for a change.

the voice kill them all. wow. COme on. With winter games nbc are lock for second place. CBS#3 will be disater!

  • omabin

Just wow at the voice. This is the first talent show I’ve watched from US TV and there is a reason for that, I am happy with these numbers (I still dislike that Shakira and Usher weren’t brought back and that we reverted to the old panel though)

  • Nathan

Outstanding for the Voice. Great for The Blacklist.

How many days are left until Scandal returns, Rob? ;)

  • joel

It was clear from the previews that The Blacklist would destroy The Hostages.

  • Alex

Its going to be interesting to see how well The Voice holds tonight and the weeks to come. This is a phenomenal start for it though. Equalling the first season debut and its best performance since season two when it was riding the Super Bowl bump. NBC have to happy. The pressure is also now on The Big Bang Theory, can it top a 5.1 on Thursday? In theory it should. It got a 5 last year at 8PM and this year it’ll have an hour.

I would have suggested SHIELD might pull those kind of numbers tonight but with NCIS and The Voice seemingly on fire that’s going to be a struggle.

  • Charmed

Ouch, looks like Bones might not see past 2014.

“How many days are left until Scandal returns, Rob?”

ABC has barely advertised its return and the promo they’re showing is awful. I can’t wait for this show to tank this year when ABC focuses on their new shows and not this hot mess with bad acting.

  • Sarah

    Bones :(

  • Alex

I’m sure at least one of Shakira or Usher will be back in the Spring. NBC is playing a pretty smart game with the coaching line-ups on the show cycling people in and out. Its a good call.

  • Niallerz24

ABC is on par ratings wise with DWTS and Castle as last season which is good. CBS has lost it’s Monday reign. NBC had gone from dreadful Monday ratings to winning the night. And FOX is doing pretty well. CW…

  • Matt

I’m happy that FOX has found a hit in Sleepy Hollow. I believe that SH’s week 2 retention was better than The Following’s, actually. Great for Castle in its season 6 premiere. For a show in its 6th season to still be doing over 10 million viewers is fantastic. And good for DWTS too, despite the sharp drop. Also good for the Blacklist. I can see it falling to a 3.2 and 10 million viewers next week, then finally settling in the 2.6-3.0 and 7-10 million range for the rest of the season. Hostages did terribly for CBS. MOM did mediocre. CBS Monday has slowly fallen apart since TBBT and 2.5 men left.

  • Nathan

Wasn’t it already confirmed that Shakira and Usher would return for the next cycle?

  • Alex

the voice kill them all. wow. COme on. With winter games nbc are lock for second place. CBS#3 will be disater!

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. Its still very early days and we haven’t had a non-Voice or football night for NBC yet. And with the exception of Fox we haven’t seen any of the other networks roll out their big guns yet. That’s still to come over the next few days.

I can’t wait for this show to tank this year when ABC focuses on their new shows and not this hot mess with bad acting.

Emmy nominated and winning bad acting.
