    @Matt
    I’m happy that FOX has found a hit in Sleepy Hollow. I believe that SH’s week 2 retention was better than The Following’s, actually.

    You believe wrongly. The Following grew in its second week.

  • WOW

    Yes Shakira and Usher return for the spring/summer cycle and I expect that premiere to be even better. Looks like The Voice is about to take over Idols viewers completely.

    5.1 is AMAZING at this day and age.

    “I’m happy that FOX has found a hit in Sleepy Hollow. I believe that SH’s week 2 retention was better than The Following’s, actually.”

    The Following rose in its 2nd episode. Still too soon to call Sleepy Hollow a hit but it is off to a great start.

    @Nathan
    Not sure if its been officially confirmed yet but there was lots of chatter in May/June that NBC were working on deals with both to return for the next Spring cycle. I’m hoping at some point they’ll do a cycle without Adam and/or Blake.

  • Michael

    The Voice continues to dominate! The show has successfully shown two cycles (with interchangeable mentors) and didn’t lose its spark! Yet, with X Factor; total opposite.

  • A.J.P.

    Yes no change for Castle

  • CrimTV

    Somewhere, Simon Cowell is crying….

  • JOHN

    Sleepy hollow grew on the demo but not the total viewers? Still good

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    Shoot, I was hoping for Bones to break into the 2s. Sleepy Hollow is a headless beast!

    Great night for NBC!!

    CBS has a few ch|nks in the armor on Mondays, even before We Are Men debuts.

    That’s nice for Castle.

  • Michael

    Alex,

    Shakira and Usher are returning for the spring cycle. Mark Burnett confirmed it in May! Xtina needs to hurry up and go on tour already, the last time she headlined a tour was in 2006.

    It funny how here in America we cancelle shows usually under 5 million viewers(except CW), & in other countries they struggle to get 1-5 million viewers.

  • Deo

    I was expecting Castle would adjust down, so I´m very glad it didn´t!

  • Babar Suhail

    Got half hours for HIMYM?

    No it’s really not that funny. You’re population is like 310 million. In the UK (63 million) some shows like The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent earn 9-10 million viewers a week. A few years ago an X Factor finale received 17 million viewers.

    Also, primetime ratings are SHARPLY UP year-to-year. This could be a good year for a change.

    To elaborate, combined preliminary half-hour ratings for the big four networks (8-10pm only for FOX) for the first Monday of the season:

    2012 – 11.5, 11.5, 12.5, 11.9, 8.2, 7.4

    2013 – 11.7, 12.7, 13.5, 13.3, 8.4, 7.4

  • Jess

    @Wow

    What makes you believe the Spring Cycle of The Voice will do even better? Surely it won’t be because of Sharkia and Usher coming back.

  • Evan

    Damn the Voice did amazing I guess people really missed Christina and Ceelo cause I can’t imagine why else the ratings would be so high. Surprised that Sleepy Hollow held so well, the show might be able to survive!

  • Owen

    Bones is in it’s 9th season so it’s showing it’s age. It would be better to see the show end this year on a high note rather than dragging it on for a 10th season. Once you Marry Booth and Bones that pretty much should end the series.

    After so many tough seasons it’s nice to see NBC doing so well. Now that they’ve fixed Monday they need to work on Thursday nights.

  • aiden

    Christina is the driving force behind The Voice, the spring cycle will most definitely not premiere to a 5.1.

  • Addrell

    I can only imagine what next year’s CBS Monday lineup will look like, without How I Met Your Mother LOL!
