The Revolution poll is back, everyone! Let's predict the ratings for tonight's second season premiere!

Though Revolution premiered big last year with a 4.1 adults 18-49 rating behind The Voice, it fell considerably during the season, finishing with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating for its season one finale. This year, Revolution won't have the benefit of a huge lead-in, and is actually leading off NBC's Wednesday night schedule. Will it survive its new day and timeslot? Or is this sophomore drama doomed to failure? Make your predictions below and tell us your reasoning in the comments!

Without The Voice leading into it, low. Just like Smash.

  • diegobitch

Can I start to laugh? This is gonna be ‘Smash’ 2.0. And I loved ‘Smash’.

  • hammard

    Smash went from a 1.8 S1 finale to a S2 prem 1.1. So I think a 1.5.

  • KS

I am expecting 1.5-1.7. It is all set for a Doom!!

  • diegobitch

I can predict a 1.5 as a high note. It will flop incredibly hard and will make ‘SVU’ flop with it.

  • j

I’m going with a 1.8, matching the series low.

The competition isn’t particularly good. Flop Factor and a declining Survivor.

  • Jack Bauer

Stop hating on REVOLUTION you guys. Season Two looks to be bigger, better and more action-packed than the first season. Deal with it, Revolution haters.

  • diegobitch

We have to remember that this show did better than ‘Smash’ did in his first season, and ‘Smash’s ‘Voice’ was higher than ‘Revolution’s ‘Voice’…

  • CraveRecords

There’s no drama competition, but (unless there have been major changes) the show is terrible. I think it will premier about where it finished last year and drop from there.

  • Khan

    I dunno… might premiere with a 2.0+ …

  • j

Last year’s equivalent Wednesday had 5 shows get a 3. Will we go down to 1?

The 2 shows I mention above.
Lead-out Nashville has a spotty record.
And I don’t have much faith in Criminal Minds staying steady.

  • victor Hugo

My bet: 6 million viewers and 2.0 rating

  • David James

    @ Jack Bauer

We are not ‘hating’ on Revolution. We are making educated guesses on the ratings of a show and if it just so happens to be a low rated guess then so be it. Revolution looks as though it will go the way Smash did so I’m guessing a 1.6.

  • Nasir

I dont care as long as Survivor beats it!

  • ruckfules55

I think a 1.8 would be considered a win by NBC for this slot, all things considered. But I believe it’ll premiere a wee bit lower, 1.6 or 1.7.

  • Greg

I might be a bit optimistic, but considering the relatively weak competition, I’m going with a 2.0.

  • Jerry

I think it is likely that The Middle, and maybe Back in the Game will win the 8pm time-slot, due to Modern Family viewers switching on slightly earlier.

It would be interesting, because I think for the first-time in a long time we might get as close as to a 4-way tie between Survivor, The Middle/Back In The Game, The X Factor and Revolution.

  • Igwell

Suddenly Wednesday is the weakest regular night. 1.9.

  • ruckfules55

    Other 8pm guesses:

    The Middle = 2.6
Back in the Game = 2.0
    Survivor = 2.5
    X-Factor (for the 2 hrs) = 1.6

  • robert

It fell from a 4.2 to a 2.1 by the end of the season. Without the lead in of The Voice, I don’t know it can get a 2.0
