The Revolution poll is back, everyone! Let's predict the ratings for tonight's second season premiere!

Though Revolution premiered big last year with a 4.1 adults 18-49 rating behind The Voice, it fell considerably during the season, finishing with a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating for its season one finale. This year, Revolution won't have the benefit of a huge lead-in, and is actually leading off NBC's Wednesday night schedule. Will it survive its new day and timeslot? Or is this sophomore drama doomed to failure? Make your predictions below and tell us your reasoning in the comments!

  • Samuel

    The Middle – 2.7
Back In The Game – 2.1
    Survivor – 2.4
    Revolution – 2.3
    The X Factor – 1.7

I think Revolution will premiere with a 2.3. As much as The Voice pulls great ratings, I don’t think it’s the best show to start a drama after. It just doesn’t carry the same audience. A younger show like GLEE would do well after The Voice, if it were on NBC. Smash was too ‘old’ in my opinion.

Anyway, 2.3 is what I predict for the Revolution premiere, which is pretty respectable.

I’m actually optimistic for Revolution this season. I think it really hurt them that there was such a large gap between the midseason finale and the second half of the season (I already had other shows in place by the time it started back up).

However, I caught up on Netflix this summer (it was one of the first shows to put season 1 up. And by the fact that it was so high on the Netflix popularity scale I’m guessing I’m not the only one.

So I don’t know that it will be up to 2.8 or anything but I think it will definitely have more viewers than the previous season finale.

  • CBSviewer

    1.8 It’s not an 8PM Show !

  • cimmer

2.2 but this is the last season and it may only make a half season before it’s gone.

  • Fake Me Out

Since so many are going low the odds makers are making it hard for me to pass up saying it will be in the 2.3 – 2.7 range so I’ll take the center and say 2.5.

The only other new network show tonight I still kinda watch is CSI so I hope there’s still gas left in the tank to give it a good start to the season, perhaps even enough to eek out yet another renewal in May. I hope it gets a 3.0 or better but expect it to be around a 2.5.

    Revolution : 2.1
    SVU : 2.4 2.8

    Middle : 2.7
Back In The Game : 2.5

    X -Factor : 2.2

    Criminal Minds : 2.8
    CSI : 2.2

About two-thirds believe it will fall between 1.6 and 2.3. That means it loses to every 8:00 show on ABC, CBS, and NBC the past two nights and might lose to Bones. That’s about right. It was my favorite new show at the outset and I didn’t really care it was renewed by the season finale. I’ll watch tonight and perhaps I’ll enjoy it since my expectations are very, very low.

  • Samunto

I think it’ll do about a 2.3-2.4 which would really be great. Even a 2.0 would be awesome. But i can’t even remember what happened in the season finale.

The 8pm hour has become very soft and The Middle will probably come out tops.

  • Juan

Sorry but I don’t think it will go very well, I say 2.1 but I really wouldn’t be surprised with less than 2. On the other hand I think the abc comedies and Nashville will come back strong.

My question is how much will the X Factor drop tonight. I am predicting a drastic drop though. It could be 5 million with a 1.5 demo. Its going to crash against all this new competition.

  • fringegot5seasons

Expecting a 2.0 for the premiere then slow but steady decline as the season goes on, a point or two every couple weeks.

  • starship

Apart from The Middle (not the same audience)and Survivor it has no real competition tonight, so I can see it debuting at 2.3+, it will fall next week with the return of Arrow with which it shares an audience, though.

  • Alecia

I voted 2.o-2.3. I don’t see it going any higher than that and those that watch the finale will probably tune in.

  • AppleStinx

1.95. I have my eyes on one of these new OLED tvs, but it won’t be for watching the likes of ‘Revolution’.

  • JackB

    8:00–CBS #1, FOX/ABC #2 (tie), NBC #4, CW #5
    9:00–ABC #1, CBS #2, FOX #3, NBC #4, CW #5
    10:00–CBS #1, ABC #2, NBC #3

  • JackB

To answer the question for NBC’s Revolution, it will be 2.1, while FOX/ABC #2 will be 2.4, CBS’s Survivor 2.8 will be on top.

  • Ex-Revolution Fan

Wait! Revolution is still on? It disappeared last season in December. I thought it was canceled?

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    I’m hoping for a 2.2 or higher, but I won’t be surprised by a 1.8 or so.

  • hello

    2.1 then settle at 1.6

  • SJ

    1.3 at best.
