To me the results for the last two nights do not really say anything about how things will shape out this season. Lets see how the nets do tonight and tomorrow. Heck lets wait for the whole week to go by before making pronouncements for the state of the Nets or which shows will be renewed…

NBC so far looks great on Paper…. but how will it do without The Voice or Football….

ABC…. Monday was the same as last year, and Tuesday so far is better than last year.. The results are similar to last fall…

CBS… I would call their results are tracking with its Spring numbers…

Fox… So far the results for Tuesday are the same as spring. Sleepy Hallow is the only upside to their schedule so far…

    @ Shane Vendrell

Is that really necessary? Most people that comment here try to keep things civil.

Poor “New Girl”. Hopefully it stays steady above a 2.0 until after the Super Bowl…

    “Lucky 7″ wasn’t so lucky…

  • Peanuts

The Goldbergs was good and I can see it improving over the season as the characters become more fleshed out instead of the screaming caricatures they are now.
Trophy Wife was garbage. The hamster killing turned me off from the show completely. Will not watch again.
I liked Lucky 7 though I know it’s probably not sticking around with those ratings, i’ll watch again next week.

I’m sure they weren’t real live hamsters!

I (and I imagine CBS) figured PoI would be a bit lower at 10pm, but 2.3 is definitely still solid for that time slot. My prediction was 2.4.

I think it’s crazy how competitive networks are on Tuesday. One of the most exciting nights of the week. Shield did awesome and the goldbergs dropped a smudge in viewers but kept its demo and trophy wife didn’t go down. Person of interest at least didn’t drop so that’s good news. CBS will protect the show it’s one of my favorites. The voice is stellar again the Emmy and the original coaches reuniting is great.

    poor NCIS

Yeah, that 3.6 rating and 20.0 million viewers must have CBS devastated at the moment.

  • Jay

Wonderful for Chicago Fire! Great show.

  • Tom

SHIELD better come up with something stupendous next week. Otherwise, after the disappointment of this week, it’s headed for the same fate as Terra Nova.

  • Adam

How did new girl drop 0.9 points in the demo since it’s premiere? That show is amazing. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

  • Dave

ABC has enjoyed a great start for SHIELD and strong sampling for The Goldbergs. Trophy Wife and Lucky 7 will both be replaced by ABC soon.

CBS is once again stable with the NCIS duo but Person of Interest numbers are disappointing.

FOX’s comedy lineup has flop written all over it.

NBC has another strong night thanks to The VOICE! Congrats to them, they deserve it.

The CW? :D :D Praying for its demise once Nikita and Vampire Diaries is over!

What a disaster for POI. It’s been obvious this was going to happen since may and now it’s probably in it’s last season.

Seriously, did you not read any of the dozen responses directed at you in the preliminary ratings thread?

There’s absolutely no chance that CBS will cancel Person of Interest.

Continuing to think otherwise, and expressing those thoughts, will cause the rest of us to think that you’re delusional and/or stupid and we will most certainly express those thoughts!

  • JR35

Can’t really compare a veteran like SVU to a newer show like Chicago Fire. SVU has loads of history behind it; a newer show, in its second season, pulling similar ratings would be more expendable. But, at the same time, we’ll see if such numbers- if pulled- are good enough to warrant renewal later on.

    @ Dave
ABC has enjoyed a great start for SHIELD and strong sampling for The Goldbergs. Trophy Wife and Lucky 7 will both be replaced by ABC soon.

Trophy Wife still has room to drop before ABC considers pulling it from the schedule.

CBS is once again stable with the NCIS duo but Person of Interest numbers are disappointing.

A 4% decline from the season finale is far from being a disappointment considering the show moved to a new night and 10PM. Things could have been a lot worse!

  • Saba

Did dante fail to realize that chicago fire still has a higher demo? Why do people have to act so stupid when it comes to two shows, cant we all watch both with out making it into a stupid competition?

  • Alan

Seems like The Voice and Chicago Fire will be fine together!

  • DenverDean

CF loses HALF of TV 9:30 lead-in – it was a 5.3 in preliminaries. That is NOT good. But, with no competition on ABC and very boring POI, it should be doing better.

  • Networkman

YAY!!! Happy for NCIS for garnering over 20 Million viewers.

Chicago Fire looks really weak pulling in 2.7 demo after The Voice’s 9pm hour which saw its demo in the 5′s. I think CBS putting Person of Interest in that timeslot helped make sure NBC would not dominate that hour. Lucky 7′s numbers look like Summer time ratings. In three weeks it most likely will be gone. And Whoa @ The Mindy Project for slipping under 3 million viewers.

    @Dave

You talk like Nikita is one of The CW’s biggest hits. Fans are lucky that it’s getting it a final season.
