    Poor Nashville and CSI.

  • TimsDale4ever

    That 4.2 for a sitcom is awesome!

  • John A

    Wow Nashville lost 2.2 from Modern Family.

  • dowla

    why Middle is not the first since it had more viewers?

  • Juan

    Ugh I really hope it was SVU that affected nashville and it goes up like a tenth or two next week. I can always hope anyway

  • CraveRecords

    Unfortunately, that 2.0 will be the season high for that stinker Nashville.

  • Dillan

    Glad X Factor didn’t adjust down.

  • James Sample

    Where did The X Factor bump come from? Wow! Good for Fox! I think we will see a third season of Nashville if it can sick around that rating.

  • Phil

    Why did you out The X-Factor before The Middle. The Middle beat it in both viewers and the demo.

  • Keith

    Not sure why the rating for Nashville is considered poor, Revenge always got that rating, usually low 2′s… I always remember it getting about 7 million and a 2.1 or 2.2 rating back in 2011 and 2012. Nothing wrong with that… And nothing wrong with Nashville ratings, IMO. It needs to stay in this range, though.. And not dip into the 1′s too often.

  • Keith

    I can only assume the ones that bash Nashville are simply not fans of country music, and that’s OK.. that or Revenge fans mad because it was moved. I like both shows, and would watch both wherever they aired.

    Revenge doesn’t air behind a show that gets a 4.2 rating though.

    I really hope capture gets renewed

    Shouldn’t The Middle be above X-Factor because it has higher share and viewers and I’m pretty it beat the latter head-to-head from 8-830 by 0.3?

    One thing awesome about CSI last night is its new and flashy opening credits! The episode was ok. Survivor is getting tired with Colton. He adds nothing but his same old bullying and tactics. CM was pretty good last night.

    @Crim

    Guess you’re a Retentionista, huh? :-)

  • Jayme

    Criminal Minds and Law And Order did better then i thought they would.

    I’m no retentionista but saying that Nashville must be doing good because Revenge gets the same numbers is completely crazy. Revenge airs behind OUAT, which got low 2′s last season and for this episode Nashville aired behind a 4.2 rated Modern Family, and only managed to retain 48% of the 18-49 rating.

  • Keith

    @Lucy

    Yeah, I know it has horrid retention, all I can figure is some may be turned off by the country music theme. I thought I’d hate the show, groaned every time ABC promoted it before it’s first season, I gave it a shot and liked it alright… Same with Revenge, I thought it’d be dumb but started picking it up middle of the first season and loved it. I hope it does OK this season..l really didn’t like all the 1′s it got…

  • Maximillian

    I can understand people being amazed at a show losing 2.2 if it was the same genre (Comedy on Comedy). This is a comedy on drama (a niche, genre specific drama). Why is anybody that surprised? I feel like Nashville has found its audience and could be moved around on the schedule into most time slots and still pull similar ratings.

    Nashville :/
