Below are FAST NATIONALS for last night’s game on NFL Network.  Final national ratings will be released later today. These audience estimates reflect viewing to NFL Network only – does not include over-the-air stations in San Francisco and St. Louis.

·        The 49ers at Rams averaged a 4.9 US HH rating (7.9 Cvg HH rating) and 7.6 million viewers.
·        The game’s audience peaked in the first-half (9:45PM-10:00PM) with 9.7 million viewers and a 6.1 HH rating.
·        Through 3 games TNF is averaging a 5.4 US HH rating and 8.6 million viewers – on pace to be the highest-rated and most-watched TNF season ever.
·        Overall, 49ers at Rams is the 8th highest-rated and the 9th most-watched Thursday Night Football game ever

    That’s surprising. Maybe since Thursday Night Football doesn’t have a long history it’s a low bar because that was hardly a good game last night. First half was so so but the Rams had so many 3 and outs. I expect many more Thursday night games to be in the top 10 if this was, especially the November games, which I remember being good matchups.

    Well the NFL opens every season on Thursday night… Do these ratings include those games or just games on the NFL Network?

    Interesting.. It was pretty lopsided game, but the 49ers usually put up great TV numbers. Great fan base..


    Doesn’t matter the match ups…when the NFL is televised great ratings are produced
