I’m really happy that the Crazy Ones did well.I know having TBBT as it’s lead in helped it a lot but hopefully people liked it and will tune in again. I am so happy to see Sarah Michelle Gellar back on Tv and finally on a real network! BTW Kelly Clarkson was hilarious !!Also happy to see X Factor hold up!! I know most people hate it but it’s actually entertaining and I’m looking forward to see how this whole 4 chair thing goes next week! Finally like I said before NBC can only have hit shows if they air after The Voice!!

  • CrimTV

The Big Bang Theory premiered it’s first season in September 2007 with a 3.7 18-49 rating and 9.52 million viewers. Now look at it now. But it’s kinda cool that The Crazy Ones premiered higher than TBBT in 2007, and yes I know I can’t compare i’m just saying.

  • CrimTV

Not to mention the Season 1 finale of TBBT scored just a 2.6 rating!

  • Matt

It’s funny how TBBT gets even higher ratings when it has TBBT as lead-in.

  • Alex

Wow, embarrassingly poor showing for Parks and Rec, and I love that show. Definitely their last season.

MJF Show didn’t impress me at all, just very cliche sitcom writing and noticeably manufactured emotional moments. Didn’t feel organic to me.

    No good for NBC Thursdays.

  • BigBrotherFan

Both the new sitcoms where HORRIBLE! I complete and utter waste of talent!

I was rooting for MJF but that shows was plain bad and I didn’t laugh once. I thought it be more a Curb Your Enthusiasm type show because FOX was great on that! What happened? It was like Up All Night, Parks and Rec and Curb rolled into one and it DOES NOT WORK. Nonetheless, I hope it improves! Mike needs some better material.

Ugh. UGH! The Lucky ones was HORRIBLE TOO! I’m really let down by this one because I love Sarah Michelle Geller she was my childhood crush by far. I have found memories looking forward to Buffy The Vampire Slayer when I was like 9. I’m so let down here! One a positive note- She is still smoking hot and has a few years left in her before she’s irrelevant and should stay home and watch the kids (her and Freddie have kids, right?lol).. CBS thank you for not subjecting me to more of the old tired actors you use time and time again.

Why did anyone think that Cory Monteith death would spike GLEE’s ratings? He wasn’t like an A list star with huge pull I had no idea who he was when he died and I still really don’t.

NEXT WEEK SEAN SAVES THE WORLD will flop hard and I cannot wait! The only people watching that will be women no doubt lol and it will be lucky to reach a 2 (wishful thinking) lol this one ain’t lasting 4 episodes. This looks worse than MOM, ARE YOU THERE CHELSEA? or The Ex List (cringe).

Bring back that little **** on two and half men! Miley would totally spike the ratings now. Was there not a plan to put her on for good?

    @Claudia
Does anyone know the Grey’s Anatomy hour breakdown?

It was 3.3/3.4/3.5/3.3 in the prelims.

I think NBC wants to kill parenthood…

Then why did they renew it instead of canceling it?

  • Matt

BIG BANG NEEDS TO BE AT 9… I have always said this.. It would regularly get 20 mil+ 6.0 demo +

  • Clarke

Does anyone know why FOX renewed Glee for TWO seasons???? I know the show gets decent ratings and they make money from all the Glee music/merchandise but why take the risk of renewing a show for 2 years??? The show is NOT a juggernaut in the ratings anymore and it is declining steadily year-to-year. Very rarely do shows ever get renewed for two seasons. I think that was a bad move by FOX.

  • James Spader

The Crazy Ones had worse retention from TBBT than The Blacklist from the The Voice.

  • oleg

I can see Elementary stabilizing at Parenthood’s levels by the start of spring. Because Parenthood will go up, like it always do as the season progresses.

  • JONNYSBRO

I think x factor could be done as a summer romp show. Make it I. A low cost way idol was the first season.

  • Melanie P.

Glad Grey’s and Parenthood are back!!

  • CrimTV

Notice how all the ‘retentionistas’ have come out of the shadows now that The Crazy Ones didn’t get a 90-100% retention of TBBT… *rolls eyes*

    Lmfao. That is funny.

I think that CBS will remove the extra hour of comedy next season. They will be losing HIMYM this year and perhaps Two and a Half Men too. Two Broke Girls is no longer a break out success and Mom does not look like it will be a success. They need at least one out of The Millers, The Crazy Ones, and We Are Men to be a hit to maintain the extra hour.
Mike & Molly is also a wildcard.

  • Ultima

I think that CBS will remove the extra hour of comedy next season.

Possibly, but which hour will they drop – Monday 8pm or Thursday 9pm? (Clearly The Big Bang Theory isn’t moving and I can’t see the Tiffany network not airing comedies in the Monday 9pm hour.)

  • SJ

Great start for The Crazy Ones. Pretty low for the return of Two and a Half Men – which I still believe will return next year for a 12th and final season. TBBT is a beast – I just don’t understand what people see in it though. It is the epitome of mediocrity. Elementary isn’t doing itself any favors with that rating for the premiere. It is now a very likely Sunday candidate for Fall 2014.

NBC has got to be disappointed: Parks and Rec and Parenthood at series lows in the middle of premiere week and a wholly underwhelming sampling for MJF. The irony is, if MJF aired on CBS, it would get a huge premiere but I guess people just don’t care about NBC when they’re not airing Sunday Night Football or The Voice.

OK for The X Factor but I still expect it to dip below a 2 sooner rather than later. Good luck getting Glee into Spring 2015, Fox!

Considering the minimal buzz for Grey’s Anatomy this year, this number is more than respectable. I hope it stays strong throughout the season.

    Thanks @Ultima!
