NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@Justin121 – Which is why I didn’t include them in my analysis.

You said that CBS cancels three dramas and then listed three dramas you thought would be canceled. But there are two other dramas to consider, at least one of which will almost certainly be canceled. So your “analysis” is moot either way. That’s my point.

  • david

@Jon. So far TN can’t match any of MC numbers. You are the one who is delusional if you think TN is a better performer! Lets see if TN goes below 1.0 monday or next week then maybe you will shut your trap

  • r0ckmypants

@bjssp – As I said in my original statement on the matter, most people aren’t like that, even though some might be. The goal is to get as many eyes as possible to the program, and it’s not replacing a first run scripted series. Surely some might watch it Friday instead of Thursday, but again, not many will.

Oh, okay. Didn’t realize you knew the TV viewing habits of everyone in America.

  • Rem

If this were an office pool the ones(like me) who correctly voted for 1.5 or less for H50 would be making $ right now.

  • Brad

Why would TN in its second Season match MC in its first?

LMS dropped to a 1.2. MC would have dropped as well. What is wrong with some of you?

  • Dan S

@Joseph A, actually Neighbors was on Wed not Thur. Either way TN didn’t deserve a renewal.
I’ll be the 1st to admit I was wrong singling out MasterChef Jr. for early cancellation. I’m shocked to see it win its timeslot over UB. If anything Fox may want to hang onto it & not move Bones to Fri as they currently have planned. Based on the premieres so far my next best guess for a quick cancellation has to go to Lucky 7 drawing only 1.3 on Tues.

  • chris

For all you people that watched ABC all week, did anyone see one commercial promoting the Friday comedies? Yeah, neither did I and it’s that type of lazy promotion which is killing LMS and The Neighbors especially since this was premier week for the other ABC shows. They promoted the heck out of LMS when nobody was tuning in to TV and then during premier week when all the shows came back they decided to not promote LMS at all. Makes perfect sense for the alphabet network smh. ABC is cheap.

  • Benjamin

FOX can’t keep Masterchef Jr on the air past November 1. The season is already filmed. They could rush another set into production for Spring, but another show would have to take over November 8.

That said, we’re still waiting on season 2 of Ramsey’s Hotel Hell. Over a year since season 1 aired. And they’re no doubt filming more Kitchen Nightmares. So if FOX really wants to keep Ramsey on Friday, they can. I doubt they would put new Hell’s Kitchen or Masterchef Original Recipe on Friday at this time.

FOX Friday in November is still dependent on how Bones, Sleepy Hollow, Dads, and Mindy Project perform in their current timeslots in the coming weeks. I expect October surprises, good and bad.

  • Jlopie1

So, I have a question. All the commenters here who are happily rejoicing over H5-0’s “disasterous”1.5 demo, aren’t you the same ones who thought it wouldn’t make a 1.0 and IF it made a 1.5 it would be a success on Fridays? Hey, H5-0 did it’s job: it retained it’s lead-in’s demo, increased the number of viewers for CBS at it’s hour, and certainly helped Blue Bloods get some new blood watching it at 10pm! Success!

  • Jayme

I think Abc would be smart to pick up Dragons Den from Canada many who are on Shark Tank are on Dragon Den.

  • Tim

TN slowly dying…we will probably see Suburgatory here soon.

  • Aron

Will we get a predict breaking bad finale ratings poll?

  • JJF

People actually think MC would’ve been doing better than The Neighbors is? lol People are just so funny.

  • Mon

So Boo Bloods not my cup of tea.

Haha! Can I borrow Boo Bloods? Personally, I can’t believe people below 50s watch Tom Selleck pout his mouth every week. I get it he has thick mustache. He doesn’t need to it flaunt it everytime.

  • Doug

Just like the last time ABC tried TGIF on Friday, it’s dying again. At least last time it took three seasons.

  • chris

mabey these stations need to learn to not moves shows to different nights…hawaii five 0 was fine on the night it was on..they always do that dumb stuff….

  • Nasir

Yeah HF0! I just watched the premiere episode. An amazing episode to kick of season. Hopefully, the following episodes continue the quality of the premiere. One of best episodes of the series in a while. Hopefully ratings go up.

  • Networkman

@Chris, you are correct. I just realize that I really didn’t see promotion for both Last Man Standing and The Neighbors. I watched a lot of TV on ABC, including DWTS,SHIELD, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, The Middle and Back in the Game. It would of been best to really advertise the Friday comedy during the much anticipated SHIELD and the new comedies that followed. That is lazy of ABC. Give us a sneak peak to show viewers what they will be missing. Last Man Standing has acceptable total viewers, being able to garner more than some other comedies throughout the week. These comedies need to see their demos improve.

  • donnie

ABC should have renewed Malibu Country fridays were much better !

  • queeneeuq

People keep forgetting Shark Tank ROSE after The Neighbors. Its LMS that’s pulling evryting down. I hope Suburgatory comes and replace LMS. Better fit.
