HAHAHAHA Hawaii Five 0 is up and retaind 100% of its lead in and gained in viewers…

also want to say BRAVO to Blue Bloods even though i havent watched it

    Suck it Tom shaw LOL

  • William

Watched Hawaii 5 O for the first time, it was very exciting, looks like Michael J Fox show is a flop, even with the repeat airing came in last place. Blue Bloods was good as usual, i like the family aspect of the show.

  • SHERI

    FANTASTIC 5-0 !!!

Glad you watched William – it’s a great show and I hope you come back for more!

    H50–Yes!

I think all these numbers for football are wrong.

I love sports more than anyone, but I cannot sit through all the endless commercials of an NFL game. Half of the game is commercials.

I think people just lie and say they watch football, while they are actually just flipping around all night.

Are people really sitting through hours of commercials every night, saying they are watching entire football games?

Clearly you don’t know how the ratings gathering process works anymore (for the majority of neilsen families). While in smaller markets they still use journals (and in theory could lie about what they watch), in larger markets they have a meter that knows which channel the tv is on and users must punch in a code with some regularity in order to continue registering that they are watching the show (and commercials). There is a video that explains it if you go to the Numbers 101 article from this site (unfortunately I cannot post a link).

CBS has to happy about its Friday night lineup. H5O did good on its new day and time. Considering last year it premiered with a 1.8, CBS has to be satisfied with it premiering with 1.6 this season on Friday. Also, it has seen a viewer increase. I love that. It may work best behind Undercover Boss. Maybe CBS should move both Elementary and CSI to Sunday night next season and keep Friday intact.

“Clearly you don’t know how the ratings gathering process works anymore (for the majority of neilsen families). While in smaller markets they still use journals “

Journals are used only during sweeps weeks in small markets for local market ratings only.

All ratings you see on our site, and pretty much everywhere else in public, are national ratings which come from people meters only.

I’m very happy to see H50 adjusted up. Premiere episode was excellent. If the next episodes are as good than I am not worried about the ratings. It should do well against Grimm (its finale in May scored barely 1.6).

    @Tim
Castle doesn’t count as competition? I’d say H50 has more in common with Castle than it does with ANTM on the CW. Grimm is the only real competition at 9.

Don’t bother Ryan. Tim is famous troll trashing H50 probably since it premiered. Of course it had competition – not only Castle but also NBC shows and Monday night football. As for Revolution – yes the first episodes had amazing ratings but as of ep. 8 it was going down very quickly and collapsed totally in spring (despite The boive lead in). Also he predicted H50 season 4 premiere at 1.3 knowing that there would be no other dramas. So now when H50 performed vewll he is blablling about lack of competition. He and some other trolls like June infest this site and piss off other people.

    sorry for typos
I meant The voice lead in.

  • Dan S

Congrats to H50 for holding its own on Fri. I thought the show would’ve taken a bigger hit by the move but happy it worked out for them. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of impact Grimm will have but obviously the biggest fish at 9pm is Shark Tank.

  • Tim

@anna g , my prediction of a 1.3 is closer to the 2 demo a lot of you predicted. We will see in a few weeks who is right.
You all predicted too that H50 was going to do better than BB.
And do you know when u know a show is in real trouble? When all the crazies come here to defend it , calling trolls to anyone that don’t agree with them.
Funny last year when I posted how H50 dropped big after M&M , all of you said that retention didn’t matter. Instead now you brag the show didn’t drop after UB.
And u say u are not worried for the ratings?? Haha. Big lie, in the H50 sites u all are posting how afraid you are the show will be canceled this season .So u agree with this article but you don’t say it here.
I posted last year h50 was big under performer, and u and your friends called me a troll. But CBS downgraded the show to the Friday graveyard. Seems this troll was right.

  • THE OLD MAN

    Go CBS!

  • JJF

CBS Friday is starting to look a little better than CBS Sunday…

  • JONNYSBRO

Hawaii 5.0 is a really fun show and it’s perfect for Friday night viewing. The shark tank is excellent they need to ditch neighbors which fails the timeslot big time. Shark tank is a beast on Friday nights.

    Ah. Thanks for the clarification.

  • JR35

Shark Tank continues to rule. And, if last season is any indication, it should remain the top-rated show in the demo at 9 p.m.

Is there some reason you seemingly want the show to fail?

Glad to see Shark Tank doing well. Great show.

it great to see Hawaii 5-0 do so great last Friday. it is one of best show on tv these days. it will not be cancelled, it will be renewed. I think the people who run the cancellation list are stupid. Hawaii 5-0 new season just started and now they it will be cancelled. they are wrong. the actors are the best.
