…so the question is when will NBC announce a backorder for The Blacklist? My guess is Friday, to distract if Thursday’s ratings are a disaster.

Fox might give Sleepy Hollow a backorder today or tomorrow, but they might wait to see if they can announce Brooklyn Nine-Nine at the same time.

Still good for now. Blacklist had a 1.3 dropoff from Voice last week, 1.4 this week.

The Blacklist was still good last night. I mean, it’s a glossy procedural but it works. Given how much I never watch crime procedurals with the exception of ‘Castle’ let me see how long I’ll keep watching this. James Spader (just like Nathan Fillion) is sure to keep me hooked.

Ratings wise I think it’ll settle at around a 3.0-3.1.

How did The Voice adjust up when all of NBC was pre-empted for football? Still strong for The Blacklist.

We Are Men will be pulled very quickly. No way this will last as long as Partners did.

omg Dante your fav show The Blackist dropped 3 tenths!

HIMYM was tired trending down last season. The show has run it’s course and should have been wrapped up, not renewed. It’s too weak a lead in to lead the Monday lineup. This, and the lackluster new entries, are a combination for disaster. CBS is going to lose it’s Monday dominance.

Grrr. Friggin’ football. Next time, steal tenths from Hostages, not The Blacklist.

“Grrr. Friggin’ football. Next time, steal tenths from Hostages, not The Blacklist.”

Your anger is unfocused, at least some should be directed towards the 2 min Voice overrun.

“How did The Voice adjust up when all of NBC was pre-empted for football?”

    See above.

I am very happy for CBS ! Everyhing is falling apart ! :D

the BL younger than Castle,i guess

But the real hit is Sleepy Hollow for the big ratings without a strong lead-in. The Biggest question is whether FOX will keep it a limited series or order a full season. I mean, it’s like a procedural with the evil of the week – should be sustainable.

For CBS probably only HIMYM will be doing above a 2.0 in a few wks and the rest of the comedies below a 1.9. Are people tired of the sexually overcharged 2BG? Sex still sells right?

  • Peter

People seem to like The Blacklist. Not much of a drop. It’ll last longer than Revolution because its a procedural.

  • tp

Really??? The problem on this block is HIMYM?? Wtf? HIMYM is doing really good at 3.1! The problem is the new shows sucks and also 2BG is a really weak show to put it at 9. Cbs wanted more of HIMYM. The show is ending this year because the cast want it to end not because of cbs. Cbs would have kill for a sitcom to deliver 3.1! Only TBBT delivers better ratings!

…also, my guess is that Fox will give Sleepy Hollow a backorder taking it up to February. They can then use the Super Bowl to promote the return of The Following.

sleepy Hollow a hit.. Fox just might as well renew it now…

  • Nikki

I dont like either The Blacklist or Sleepy Hallow.. i dont get it Hostages is awesome i wonder why people arent watching. Is it to hard to follow for some.. i dont know. I like it and it gained viewers with L+3 days so people watched it. I wonder whats going on.

CBS comedy block is just a horrible mess. They should never have moved Two and a Half Men. I said at the time it was a dumb move. Now they are getting the results. I don’t think Hostages can be blamed for the low ratings. It is following a mess of a schedule and against the usual Voice inflated drama numbers for NBC’s early days ten pm offering.

Big drop in finals for The Blacklist. I still think it is far too early to say whether or not it will go the way of Smash and Revolution and really drop.

  • steve

gggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr why does quality tv always seems to fail like the blackist :(

  • Riley

It’s funny, there are like 5 shows above 3.0 then everything else is somewhat low below a 2.4

  • Wright

I’m very happy Sleepy Hollow didn’t get adjusted down. Way to go “Icky”.
