I’m crediting The Voice for the one tenth it got by being adjusted up cause of the overrun. I’m crediting football for the other two tenths.

Ere go, football > Voice in my distribution of anger.

I watched both The Blacklist and Hostages, Ep.1&2. I have a hard time with the lead actress in The Blacklist, I think they miscast that one, although I do enjoy James Spader. It was nice to see Isabella Rosselini in episode 2. I am not too impressed with the way they portray the FBI. In Hostages, I really like Dylan McDermott and think it could be interesting to see why he is doing what he is doing, but the lead actress in that one too Toni Collette feels a bit miscast to me. I also didn’t care for Hilarie Burton’s portrayal as the girlfriend of Tate Donovan the husband. I will give both shows one more episode to see if I will follow them or not.

Sleepy Hallow looks like Fox’s biggest hit. Watch FOX screw it up! Sleepy Hallow should have been on CW and that terrible beauty and the beast should have been canceled.

Castle did not adjust down, even with a DWTS 1 minute overrun.

The overrun from DWTS was lower-rated than Castle.

We Are Men had a lukewarm debut but it broke a 2 and wasn’t far off from Mom or 2BGs ratings. These ratings would be good if these comedies were on NBC or Fox, but for CBS it must be a disappointment. On Monday after HIMYM everyone must be watching Monday Night Football, the Voice, or Sleepy Hollow.

All good things must come to an end. Looks like CBS’ Monday Night Comedy Block has met it match in Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow ” and NBC’s “The Voice “. “HIMYM” is doing a decent job leading of the night, at least in the 18-49 demos. “Mike & Molly” did a good job last season. I think its season average in the 18-49 was in the mid 3′s. “2 Broke Girls” just isn’t strong enough to kick off the 9pm hour. “Hostages” is killing the 10pm hour and needs to be sent to Fridays. I think its a better fit with “Blue Bloods”.
    Here’s my suggestion…

    8pm……..HIMYM
    8:30pm…Mike & Molly
    9pm……..Two and a Half Men
    9:30pm…2 Broke Girls
    10pm……Hawaii 5-0

    Any Feedback/ Comments?

I’m not impress with castle ratings! it’s been in that time slot since the very beginning it’s their comfort zone so of course they will do well on that slot.

TB ratings are definitely going to fall
    just like how Revolution did
and Castle is going to lead in the time later later

I think he problem with hostages is that it Is against castle which I have watched for years and the blacklist which I also want to watch. I have been meaning to try hostages for two weeks now, but have not gotten around to it. I now owe my Mom. She bet me that CBS gave too much hype to hostages and that people would not watch because they would drag the situation out for too many episodes. And now it looks like she was right and I hate that. Shame about two broke girls, that show was actually much funnier without a lot of Oleg and Sophie in it. I wonder if people got tired of the raunchy jokes or if they miss them. And I agree that hostages does not fit with the comedies which is why I usually watch Castle.

I dont like either The Blacklist or Sleepy Hallow.. i dont get it Hostages is awesome i wonder why people arent watching. Is it to hard to follow for some.. i dont know. I like it and it gained viewers with L+3 days so people watched it. I wonder whats going on.

I believe the problem lies not in the quality of the show but rather that it is (fan excuse bingo) in the wrong night with incompatible comedies. The CBS comedies audience is different than the audience a show like Hostages would hope to attract or targets. You also add the element that is serialized whereas those other shows are not. Sure you can make the argument that the Voice audience is as incompatible as the audience for The Blacklist, but when you consider that size of the audience when compare to the CBS leadins you can still lose half the viewers and end up with a solid rating.
