Univision Network Starts 2013/14 Season by Out-performing Key Broadcast Premieres Among Adults 18-34

  

“Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) Beat “Survivor,” “The Middle,” “Undercover Boss,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Revolution” in 8 p.m. Hour

 

“La Tempestad” (The Storm) Beat “The Michael J. Fox Show,” “Hawaii Five-O,” “Dateline Friday” in 9 p.m. Hour

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of September 23, 2013 to September 29, 2013

  

  • On Monday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Tuesday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • On Wednesday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

ü  In the 8 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules), out-performed season premieres of “The Middle” (ABC),  “Survivor” (CBS), “Revolution” (NBC) and the series debut of “Back in the Game” (ABC) among Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Thursday night, Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, out-delivering NBC.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

 ü  In the 8 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules), out-performed the season premiere of “Parks and Recreation” (NBC) among Adults 18-34.

ü  In the 9 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm), out-performed the series premiere of “The Michael J. Fox Show” (NBC) among Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Friday night, Univision ranked as the #1 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and #3 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX and NBC in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for both demographics.

 

 ü  In the 8 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules), out-performed the season premiere of “Undercover Boss” (CBS) and the series debut of “MasterChef Junior” (FOX) among Adults 18-34.

ü  In the 9 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm), out-performed the season premieres of “Hawaii Five-O” (CBS) and “Dateline Fri” (NBC) among Adults 18-34.

ü  In the 10 p.m. hour, Univision’s novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love), out-performed the season premiere of “Blue Bloods” (CBS) among Adults 18-34.

 

  • Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked as the #4 broadcast network among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX.  “Sabado Gigante” averaged 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 706,000 Adults 18-49, and 289,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

ü  At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.0 Million, +6%) and Adults 18-49 (882,000, +16%).

                ü Airing at 8 p.m., “¡Mira Quién Baila!”  (Look Who’s Dancing) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.9 Million, +1%), Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +9%), and Adults 18-34 (756,000, +10%).

ü  Following “Mira” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Adults 18-49 (1.3 Million, +15%) and Adults 18-34 (539,000, +26%).

 

  • At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Porque El Amor Manda” (Because Love Rules) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.2 Million, +3%), Adults 18-49 (2.2 Million, +6%), and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million, +9%).

 

  • Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “La Tempestad” (The Storm) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.4 Million, +4%) and Adults 18-49 (1.8 Million, +5%).

 

  • Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Que Bonito Amor” (Beautiful Love) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (3.2 Million, +7%), Adults 18-49 (1.6 Million, +11%), and Adults 18-34 (635,000, +3%).
