@ those POI fans who like Shaw.
I almost wish there had been a spinoff too. Then I could watch what used to be one of my favorite shows and not have to put up with her. It is okay for a show to “evolve” – it is not okay for a show to change completely from what it had been. There is a bait and switch feel to that. When you evolve, you hang on to the DNA (DO NOT ALTER) at your core. The POI on today is a new species, a different show, and, having never missed a season one episode, and having stuck with season two, I can not stand to watch anymore.

I agree with Johnny and add watered-down Network TV at its finest, how can these shows even compete with the Oscar type Cable original programs being produced and then add reality garbage and its a miracle anyone watches the so called Major networks.

Okay, I have a couple of questions first. Is this based only on Nielsen viewers or a combination of Nielsen/ ratings by cable company? So if you re not a Nielsen family, you don’t count? Second, in the demographic number while is the second number after the/ always a different number? Is their a “ratings guide for dummies” on this website that you could refer me to? I read on this website last year that CBS will not make money off of POI if it goes to syndication because it is owned by WArner bro. is that true? I think it was a mistake to move it to Tuesday night, but if CBS will not make money on it in syndication, they probably don’t care as much if it gets there. Generally, I get the idea that CBS does not care about their shows the second they start dropping in ratings and make them less money. I liked POI on Thursdays because I looked forward to the lineup of TBBT, POi, and elementary. I’d watch something else during two and a half men. But it was the only night of TV that I really looked forward to watching. Trophy wife is cute and has potential to be a good comedy. I hope ABC gives it a chance. I like Chicago fire too. Really surprised it is beating POI though. Why do they put all of the good shows against each other when there are plenty of time slots where there is nothing good on? Anybody know what unforgettable a ratings were in this time slot two years ago? which brings me to my las question, when unforgettable began airing and same with Vegas, CBS said it was the number one new show on television for months through February at least. Then they cancelled both of them, but renewed the new dramas on Thursday night (which were poi two years ago and elementary last year). Was CBS lying in the advertisements?

I’m afraid I can’t quite see how the addition of one character “alters a show’s DNA.” Especially considering that the number of shows who’ve never added, subtracted, or changed regulars throughout their run probably is somewhere near zero.

Please tell me how NCIS garners 19-20 million viewers every week? I have failed to see why this show is so popular. I just can’t get into it.

Why did they move POI to 10pm???

If CBS can air Criminal Minds at 9pm, then they sure as heck can move POI back to 9pm.

Sure, it starts after the “Aren’t we sick of singing reality shows yet?” The Voice, but I gotta believe that intelligent people prefer POI to the last hour of crap
