    @ Grz12

The good news is The Voice moves to 9:00 next week and AOS will likely suffer another major drop so hopefully that will make a difference for B99.

These are still good numbers for Shield, with the Voice out of its way I can see it staying around the 2.7-3.3 range for the rest of the season, those are good numbers for a broadcast show these days. The Goldbergs will probably survive as well(I am not a fan), as long as it stays around the 1.9-2.2 range, ABC will be happy.
The Trophy Wife will last till December time and be canceled.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine must be among the biggest disappointments for Fox, its quite expensive to make so these numbers are abysmal. It will probably get pulled soon. Dads is a goner! New Girl is disappointing but still hanging on.(I have given up on that show as everyone of the characters annoy me). If Mindy stays around these numbers it will get renewed as Fox do not have many options.

CBS which is struggling a bit this season still has NCIS x 2 which are still getting good numbers. POI is starting to worry me, its too early to be getting these type of numbers, It could potentially fall out of the 2′s soon. This was one of the more promising shows for CBS of the past seasons, you have to wonder what will happen to CBS once NCIS and Big Bang Theory decline as its other shows are definitely losing steam fast. HIMYM is ending soon. They better hope The Crazy Ones stay strong, as all of their other new shows this season look really weak.

NBC should be thanking their lucky stars for the Voice, that show is propelling their whole schedule. Chicago Fire has an extremely comfy slot, once the Voice ends, I see it falling to the high 1′s, low 2′s.

    Dante is the new Max.

    @EveWren

Can someone explain to me what networks consider when they cancel a show?

Well, first and foremost is the 18-49 demo. That is the number that is used to set advertising rates so it is highly desirable to have a high demo number.

Other things to consider are how close the show is to syndication and how cheap the show is for the network (for example, is it a cheap Canadian import or a co-production.)

hopefully SHIELD does not drop to much next week, I see it getting around a 2.9

People need to stick with Brooklyn Nine Nine. The characters are there and if you liked the Office and Parks and Rec most of them are mashups of characters from those two shows. If it gets a chance to go a full season I think it could become a Parks and Rec style show for FOX.

Dads needs to be replaced by Raising Hope in November.

Well CBS knew Tuesday at 10 was the networks black hole and POI is now worse than Vegas but there is also unanimity that shahi needs to be fired. CBS will cancel wb show.

@Bill , I have not watched the FOX shows, but would guess it could be partially saved via a schedule change.

@Matt, Luck 7 is dead thats sort of a given, as for HOSTAGES even at 1.5 its probably more then safe on CBS since its a short run series.

@Aeiouy ABC #s had a massive drop off which will probably result in extensive meetings at Disney today, but with only 2 episodes in the only show clearly going to end an early death will be LUCKY.

  • frodo

By the way ABC need to cancel Unlucky 7 as its destroying their Tuesday average. Any alternative would be better than that mess. Put some Shark Tank repeats in the meantime and watch it double the Lucky 7 numbers.

Seth Green’s “overgrown teenager” act is stale, still playing Dr. Evil’s son from ‘Austin Powers’.

Person of Interest will be renewed for a 4th season. Syndication. Seriously i’m tired of people saying that POI, Revenge and 2 Broke Girls will be cancelled this season. No they will not!

ABC: I have to say SHIELD had a really big drop but at least it got adjusted up two tenths. I just hope it’s not the next “V”. I really like The Goldbergs I hope it stays steady in the high 1′s and low 2′s. I really like Trophy Wife as well but I don’t think it got sampled well enough. ABC should really move Goldbergs after The Middle and Trophy Wife after MF. Unlucky 7 won’t make it to their third episode.

CBS: NCIS is still chugging along with mid 3′s and 20 million viewers. This old horse is already beating SHIELD and showing who’s boss on Tuesdays. NCIS LA is doing good but without NCIS it will be getting mid 1′s and getting beat by the comedies. POI is doing alright but possibly getting beat by SOA can’t be good.

NBC: The Voice is just doing amazing and even though CF got adjusted down two tenths it’s still doing good. I really want CF to hit a 3.0 and 9 million viewers before The Voice leaves it by itself so we can all really call it a hit. But even without The Voice, CF can still do low 2′s. If Blacklist can hold onto high 2′s, CF can stay in the 2′s the whole season, Revolution can stay above a 1.5, Ironside can hold good retention with SVU, MJF can stay in the high 1′s and low 2′s , Parenthood can stay above a 1.5 and the new comedies do OKAY NBC will be in very great shape.

Can’t wait till The Originals premieres next week!!! I also can’t wait for PLL on ABC Family!!!

Andy Samberg’s another who coasts on being known as ’20something hip’, from the ‘Digital Shorts’, but hes aging fast. Plus, his teeth are gross!

CrimTV, “people” aren’t saying it. Theissuesarenow just says it a lot.

    Unlucky 0.7.

    I lawled

  • Theisssuesarenow

But who is banging down CBSs door to syndicate POI or Warner bros door

  • Leah

NCIS & NCIS-LA 2 of the biggest procedural’s on CBS and it seems that the 10 o’clock hour not really good for any show recently. I don’t think they can find another show that would beat the POI numbers. I have to say The Voice is killing in demo at 8 o’clock. Happy to see NCIS-LA winning their time slot.

No people said this when Revenge’s final numbers came out and 2 Broke Girls’.

  • Theisssuesarenow

Too many dramas in a row for cbs

What you seem to be missing in your “no buyer” argument is that canceling the show after three seasons prevents them from ever making syndication on the show. WB will want to preserve the chance that they can sell it into syndication.
