I suspect SHIELD will either rise slightly or have a softened fall next week when NBC airs The Biggest Loser at 8.

Chicago Fire is still chugging along for NBC at 10. It’s probably never going to be a massive hit, but 2.6 at 10 is very solid, even after The Voice, especially considering that it’s not a new show.

  • Chris J

I’m very happy with NBC right now, and I think Chicago PD will be another hit this Spring!

They are on track to renew more shows this year than last.

  • RJ

Also, Lucky 7 is just embarrassing. ABC should waste no more time in announcing its cancellation. Just get it over with and move on.

  • ATXCountry

Fox should put New Girl on at 8pm and move Bones to Tuesdays at 9pm. I highly doubt AOS and New Girl share any audience at all, and Brooklyn 99 will likely flourish with a better lead in. (It builds on Dads, but it has a lot of ground to make up.)
Bones has already proven it can stay in the 2.0 range against The Voice and is on track to being Fox’s #2 non-animated show this week. It would be a waste to send such a steady show to Fridays with the schedule in this state.

  • Networkman

WHOA! Lucky 7 @ .7 in the demo. ABC has to cancel this show effective immediately. It has to be the first new show to get the ax.

Anyways, all networks are having difficulty this season. Each has one night that they are truly concerned about.

CBS Monday night, ABC Tuesday Night, FOX Tuesday Night and NBC Thursday Night all need attention.

Well it’s better to move a steady show there than a new show which will bomb or Glee whose audience will be out on Fridays.

If a show has appeal it can be sold in the first season! 2bg or others. But also with POI now bombing who is going to buy it anyway? So this season bombs totally and then a buyer says “over 100 episodes of this show that collapsed and failed and bombed in it’s third season let’s buy it?”

  • chloe

@CrimTv do you think the superbowl lead in will help the new girl and what do you think the ratings Will be after

  • Harry

ABC is enjoying the consequenses of canceling anything that was on tuesday for the past years… people think why should i bother , the shows will get cancelled anyway. so this became a death slot . well deserved if u ask me and i predict same thing for post modern family comedy .

  • CrimTV

Difficult to say. Elementary and Glee’s overall audience on their regular nights did not rise after the Super Bowl.

  • EveWren

    Why is POI in red?

  • Harry

Lucky 7 pilot was awful i fell asleep 10 times watching it . there was a specialist on the network that approved lucky 7 and ordered episodes? what was he on while he made the decision?

  • CrimTV

Yes because Apartment 23, Happy Endings, Body of Proof, Work It, Man Up and The River were such big hits! Shame on ABC for cancelling these potential long-running shows!

  • Mike

Calling it now Betrayal and Lucky 7 will be canned today.

  • RJ

I’ve never seen a single episode of Body of Proof but it looks like a ratings behemoth next to Lucky 7. In retrospect, I suspect that with the hindsight of 20/20 vision, given what replaced it, ABC might be regretting that cancellation.

  • greysfan

Wow. Agents of SHEILD quite a tumble. I loved the show so i hope it doesn’t keep slipping. I bet ABC are regretting cancelling Body of Proof now. I did say ABC were stupid in doing so last season. Sometimes its better to keep shows with 9m viewers on average than shows in the demos. Lucky7 is a disaster. I expect it to be the first cancellation followed by Betrayal.

  • feltsogudinya

The ratings are terrible because the programs are terrible. Dads is unwatchable and the rest of the fox lineup is a frantic mess of stupidity. B99 is just dumb, NG needs to mellow out and TMP is another show that zigs and zags in a different direction every week. All the shows are directed and acted at a fever pitch. The viewer needs a sedative after watching these shows. CBS on Tuesday nights is television for seniors who refuse to pay for cable or movie channels. ABC’s AOS and L7 are cheaply made and written poorly. The Goldberg’s and TW aren’t bad, but neither are must see TV. We have seen great shows, (Mad Men, Shameless, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, Downton Abbey, American Horror Story, The Americans, The Bridge, etc.) so the networks can’t get away with this mediocre television anymore. What happened to all the talented people like Norman Lear and David Kelley and Stephen Bochco and John Wells who used to make shows with character and heart? Prime time network TV has become a crap festival of garbage……

  • CrimTV

Unless ABC plans on shutting down, they should only keep shows with a good 18-49 demo rating average.

  • Chuck

Chicago fire is one the worst televisions shows on television… It should be a day time soap at most… The acting is horrible… The actors are horrible and their stories are all horrible… I don’t believe a single actor on that show is a “firefighter” none of them would make it… Rescue me was the best firefighter show ever! Real stories good acting and real life situations … It would role over in its series finale grave if it saw how bad Chicago fire is! The only thing good about Chicago fire is that the ratings are finally dropping … I predict a completed season 2 with a cancelled season 3! Canadian show rookie blue is even better then it… Chicago fire is is a disgrace to television …

  • Networkman

I’m a little disappointed that CBS didn’t move Person of Interest to 9pm after NCIS and then move NCIS:LA to the 10pm slot. Person of Interest really was their next potential blockbuster/mega hit. The actors/actresses involved with the show are really great. Another option would have been moving NCIS to 9pm and then it would of been ok for Person of Interest to follow it in the 10pm slot.
