Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

What will ABC put in place of Lucky 7? Do they have a drama ready to take over? Shark tank repeat? I can’t imagine L7 will last more than one more episode.

NBC really nurtured Chicago fire. The voice still did stellar. Abc just crashed. The shield abc will be patient with but damn that’s a tumble. The goldbergs they should keep on there but trophy wife stinks and goodbye lucky 7. Abc needs new freshness to it.

  • Mitchell

Ugh, what’s more annoying, one easily avoidable Dante post, or a dozen people telling him to go away? This is just like Max last year. Have you guys never run into an internet troll before?

  • TV Viewer

I have to admit that moving Person of Interest to Tuesday night at 10 did not do the program any favors.
Following NCIS and NCIS: LA the numbers should be better, but, they are not. Too bad because it is a good show.

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

If you look at the L3 numbers for Shield, it was quite impressive. This being said, I think it will still have a TON of DVR and online viewing, but a good chunk only watched the premier live

  • Rick

Hopefully Trophy Wife is put away soon. Watched the first episode and I thought it was terrible, just my opinion. Ouch on Lucky 7 though, the Bear must be licking his chops.

  • Mike

Love both The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife. Hope they bounce back.

  • reidjr

Chicago Fire did very very well.

  • omabin

I think it’s interesting to note that in 18-34, FOX lost only to the voice fueled NBC… There is more to the story of this comedy block than meets the eye. I am not ready to bet on the mindy’s project cancellation yet.

  • TV God

New Girl will get around 6 seasons.

  • r0ckmypants

Can we all stop with the doom and gloom over Agents of SHIELD? Yes, that’s a big drop from the premiere, but a 3.1 is hardly bad, especially considering the trainwreck this timeslot has been for ABC and that The Voice will be vacating the 8:00 hour soon.

  • CrimTV

This is the time when you wish DVR ratings were included in renewal prospects :(

  • reidjr

They can’t pull all the shows that have low ratings.

  • DenverDean

CF will be adjusted down for sure. Plus, CF & POI are probably getting ABC scraps. A 0.8 for L7? Those are CW numbers. ABC must can this immediately.

  • Ilovemymac

Seems a bad night for tv everything was down allot

  • Mitchell

ABC can replace Lucky 7 with Primetime.

  • Peter

I’m a Joss Whedon fan and Agents of SHIELD is awful. I know it takes him time and that he doesn’t start seasons off real well. As for the acting, remember how awful David Boreanaz was at 1st. His acting was stiff. I like Elizabeth Henstridge, she has charm.

  • Lily

Series low for POI … Wow bad move CBS the new timeslut!

  • reidjr

No its not bad but if it has another big drop next week there might be reason for concern.

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Shield beat NCIS in 18-34 and NCIS beat it in 25-54
    Just interesting observations
