In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4 with an encore.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • LisaM

CBS, move H 5-0 back to Mondays. Friday will kill the show.

  • mando

Putting MJF show and SSTW on Friday is a good move. It will attract viewers into the sitcoms and Thursday spots can survive!

  • Norman

    Pretty solid for Hawaii 5-0.

  • rob60990

The Neighbors couldnt even go up despite Last Man Standing rising but its still LMS dragging the night down for ABC right? Lmao.

  • Charmed

I’m a bitter Ghost Whisperer fan so I’m happy to see what has become of CBS Friday’s

  • omabin

Pretty solid for H50, very happy about it. I really don’t think they will can it this year now. LMS did pretty good too.

  • DenverDean

BB’s drop has to be concerning to CBS. H50 doing basically same as Hostages, TGW and TM. CBS needs to make some moves before November. I figure Hostages gets one more week on Mondays.

  • Mon

Yay ABC beat CBS! People were giving Boo Bloods too much credit last week.

  • mathew

Only shows from broadcast tv I watched yesterday were masterchef Jr and shark tank :P

  • JJF

“The show is dragging down the night.” Haters excuse bingo. lol

  • DenverDean

@Charmed GW really started to dive after the “jump” and “time jump.” ITA – that CBS should have kept GW/Medium in tact. ABC should have grabbed GW since they also produced it. Would’ve been a good fit for their demo.

  • Kissan

I really want The Neighbors to fall below a 1.0 so they can pull it so ABC can change their schedule around. Pretty good for Hawaii Five-0 and BB. The Originals repeat did alright. I really hope those 3 million people that were watching SSTW and MJF liked it and watch it on Thursday nights because they need more viewers. Can’t wait until Carrie Diaries and Grimm come back.

  • Mike 1

CBS is not having a good year. They have only won Thrusday this week .
And now they are losing Fridays too. When NBC starts airing Originals of Grimm and Dracula, CBS may drop to 3rd. They cannot be happy with these Firday numbers.

  • chloe

Is LMS going to renewed for a 4th season because of 3rd season. Someone please answer

  • Rollie

Great to see LMS up again, last week’s rating had me spooked! I hope The Neighbors goes up instead of down next week.

  • boogke

Malibu Country looking pretty good to ABC right now…dumb cancellation.

  • Robert Ford

Once again the Neighbors surprises me. I was certain that it would flatline in the second week and drop in the third. Instead it dropped in the second week and flatlined in the third.

Perhaps ABC will see it through to syndication after all. As a fan of cult comedies in general, that should make me happy. As a non-fan of the show who watched HTLWYP savaged by nasty Neighbors fans, it shouldn’t. I’m torn about how to to feel.

  • rob60990

Hawaii 5-0 has helped CBS stabilize their Friday nights. They will not move it. They will focus on other nights that need changing.

  • Clarke

I know a 1.0 for the Neighbors is pretty bad…even for Fridays but I’m just happy it didn’t fall any further. I really do enjoy all of ABC’s Friday lineup; I think they shouldn’t change their lineup just yet – maybe given time the Neighbors can slowly build a audience.

  • Lyndsay

Hawaii Five-0 doing well! Especially considering that crap lead-in.

@LisaM, Fridays are NOT going to kill the show! =D CBS needs to keep it away from the implosion that is Mondays.
