2013-2014 Season: NBC Leads Among Adults 18-49 & CBS With Total Viewers Through Week 2 Ending October 6, 2013

After two weeks of the 2013-2014 broadcast television season (through Sunday, October 6, 2013), NBC is in first place among adults 18-49, with a 2.9 rating average, up 4 percent from last season.  CBS  was second, with a 2.4 rating average, down 2% from last season. ABC came in third with a 2.2, up 4 percent, and FOX came in fourth with a 2.0, down 16%  from last season. Univsion was fifth with a 1.3, down 9 percent from last season. The CW finished sixth with a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating average, up 16 percent from the previous season.

Among  total viewers, CBS is ahead for the season  averaging 10.610 million viewers. NBC is second with 9.220m, followed by ABC with 7.680m, FOX with 5.420m, Univision with 3.320m and CW with 1.070 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49. The season-to-date numbers are "Most Current" ratings, which are Live+7 Day for all but the two most recent weeks and Live+ Same Day for the two most recent weeks.

    SUPER BOWL will get FOX close but not sure it can be #1

    The CW actually went up. I think this week is going to be good for the network (Except for Mondays…)


    The World Series may give FOX an edge this fall vs ABC/CBS. LA beat Atlanta, if LA makes it to the WS and comes up against the Red Sox it could have epic ratings.

    NBC has the Olympics in February. FOX really needs to rebound or they don’t have a shot.
