FOX News Beats CNN and MSNBC Combined in Primetime Viewers on 17th Anniversary

FOX News unveiled its new primetime lineup Monday  and handily beat CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers and bested them both in the adults 25-54 demo as well.  The debut of The Kelly File at 9PM/ET was number one in cable news in its timeslot, with 2.1 million viewers. Shepard Smith Reporting also debuted to strong numbers – beating both CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers and the demo.  See below for more.

FNC: 2,065,000 total viewers (319,000 in A25-54)
CNN: 520,000 total viewers (145,000 in A25-54)
MSNBC: 947,000 total viewers (293,000 in A25-54)

3-4PM/ET
FNC’s Shepard Smith Reporting 1,436,000 total viewers (250,000 in A25-54)
CNN’s Newsroom  511,000 total viewers (124,000 in A25-54)
MSNBC’s The Cycle 363,000 total viewers (84,000 in A25-54)

9-10PM/ET
FNC’s The Kelly File 2,066,000 total viewers (289,000 in A25-54)
CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight 530,000 total viewers (145,000 in A25-54)
