Who would have ever predicted that TBBT would almost close the gap in termes of viewers with NCIS…it already beats it with the rating…how many more weeks until it closes the gap on viewers?

  • j

Well last week one of the BBT eps beat NCIS in total viewers.

What a healthy looking T25…I expect things shall fall soon.

BBT will over take NCIS in the 7 Day DVR viewer tally when it comes out in a few weeks. NCIS will get a 3 million bump, BBT will get a 4 to 5 million viewer bump. After this week it will be a very long time that NCIS gets near 20 million viewers with Cote de Pabalo leaving, younger viewers don’t want to watch a bunch of middle aged actors Tony and Abby, and keep in mind Mark is 62 and David just turned 80, cast is getting older and older by the season.

TAAHM is following the path I thought it would. Moved away from the very cushy post-TBBT lead-in and back an hour, the show is plummeting. Why does CBS keep it going? They have that second syndication deal in hand with the episodes from last season. Now the show is left with only one of the original characters, John Cryer. Amber Tamblyn is a good actress but her part on Charlie Sheen’s former vehicle is not believable and the show stinks even worse with her on it. Angus Jones and Conchata Ferrell are apparently being eased out of the show. They have managed to bring back the one-note broad from that Jim Belushi crapper from a few years ago. I got part of the way through the second episode this season and I was done. Obviously I have some company among former viewers of TAAHM. It’s a shame. The show used to good and empty-headed fun from a decidedly jaundiced perspective on the battle of the sexes. The show was smutty and funny and kind of tailored to a largely male audience. Now it’s the Joan of Arcadia chick, pretty boy wooden actor Kutcher and the same old butt of all jokes, Cryer. Put this lame beast out of its misery already.
