FANS MAY VOTE FOR THE NEW SEASON’S TAGLINE
BETWEEN NOW AND OCTOBER 14 AT
AMERICANIDOL.COM, AND ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER

The Winning Tagline Will Appear Throughout American Idol XIII Marketing Campaign

American Idol voting starts before the show begins in January 2014, as the original star-making series calls on fans to select the official tagline for American Idol XIII. The American dream inspires every AMERICAN IDOL contestant. So, which tagline will inspire fans the most? Fans may choose one of four taglines and cast their vote(s) at Americanidol.com, via Twitter and on Facebook. Voting begins today and continues through next Monday, Oct. 14, at 11:59 PM PT, with the winning tagline revealed during the AMERICAN IDOL marketing campaign.

Fans may vote for the following taglines:

Listen to their dreams come true.

A million different stories. One powerful dream.

Every story is different. The dream is the same.

The search for a superstar.

Fans can make their votes count by visiting AmericanIdol.com or the AMERICAN IDOL Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AmericanIdol.  To vote via Twitter, fans may vote by tweet, using their favorite tagline’s hashtag, including: 1) #IdolListen for “Listen to their dreams come true”; 2) #IdolMillion for “A million different stories. One powerful dream”; 3) #IdolStory for “Every story is different. The dream is the same”; and 4) #IdolSearch for “The search for a superstar.”

What about “please watch this, or else we will get canceled”? Or maybe “just another year with the same old crap”?

  • AllOfHerTw!st

Listen to their dreams come true.

A million different stories. One powerful dream.

Every story is different. The dream is the same.

    The search for a superstar.

    Please start watching us again

    @Sara
What about “please watch this, or else we will get canceled”?

Even with a 20% year-to-year ratings drop, American Idol will probably still be the highest rated show on FOX.

It’s no longer pulling in MustSeeTV money, but it’s still a very profitable show.

  • CrimTV

    “Help us save Fox”

  • Flame

How about “Nobody’s bothering – why should you?”

  • Joseph

Here’s one tagline that should be adopted:

“For one young aspiring singer, 13 is going to be a lucky number. ‘American Idol’, Season 13, Only On Fox!”.

  • MattyD

For all you pepole making comments about the ratings if you dont like the show then don’t watch it and shut up.

  • TV Addict

    This just seems lazy.

  • cc

    Where votes don’t matter.

  • TV Viewer

“Watch the delusional people with no talent have their dreams turn into nightmares on national television”.
