The broadcast also included Bill Geist’s chat with artist Barney Smith, who uses toilet seats as his canvas; Martha Teichner’s profile of artist and Cumberland Island, GA resident Gogo Ferguson; Anthony Mason’s report on a new Broadway production based on the life of the late Janis Joplin; and Lee Cowan’s story on new information indicating the role of women aiding the Nazis during the Holocaust was more widespread that originally suggested.
