What she discovers convinces her that she must solve the mystery surrounding Clara and the death in the house before her family falls victim to a similar fate.

Usually the plot involves – which they don’t tell you – several innocent people and families falling victim to a similar fate in the process, mostly from actions taken by the heroine. Those fatalities are alright, the important thing is for the battered and bruised heroine to be seen hugging her family in the end.
