Should be interesting to see how low the ratings have fallen by May.

  • Ronald

wasnt this Announced since they order the pilot¿?

  • David James

Nope, the only show that already had a 22 episode since May was The Michael J. Fox Show.

  • João Lucas

    I wanna see AHS:Coven ratings!

  • Jeff (Canada)

IMO they should have just done the 13 this season and then renewed it for season 2. The ratings will be terrible by May, ABC will regret this.

  • zerg

It will fall under 2.0 by May. I say it as a Marvel fanboy

  • James

There’s no way SHIELD will get the Sleepy Hollow treatment. Agents of SHIELD has to lead the whole night, and there isn’t any replacements. The ratings may drop like Flash Forward though.

  • poweranimals

Take that haters. I find it amusing that everyone was claiming that it ABC would drop it after a few episodes and now it’s already got a full season.

  • RDavid

I think they believe it has stabilized, have seen better feedback on the most recent episode, and are looking at the situation of the competition (Ziva’s departure, The Voice being done with the blind auditions, etc…).

Read elsewhere that they have already started to make some changes they think are needed.

  • Charmed

It will probably stabilise in the mid 2’s, which is good, but tbh I was expecting much, much more. I thought this was gonna be the new Lost ratings-wise

  • Charmed

Although a good thing about keeping this around for a while is that everytime a new Marvel movie comes out this will probably get huge buzz again

  • gerry

not surprised about the season pickup. the big question is if it can maintain these numbers by the end of the season. if the writing strengthens, i can see it happening.

  • Shepherd

As bad has the show has done the last couple of weeks, this absolutely comes as no surprise. ABC is having some serious issues this season, and I still expect a S.2 renewal even if this show regularly falls below 1.7-1.8 come spring time. I do not however, see a S.3 happening.

  • L

I smell another ‘No Ordinary Family’.

  • Shepherd

Who was saying that ABC would drop this after a few episodes. I think even these ‘haters’ you speak of expected this.

  • Cyrax86

What else could get a back nine on ABC? The Goldbergs & Super Fun Night?

  • David James

What other shows do you think will receive back 9 orders next?

  • Sarah

Not surprising at all. don’t think it will last past this season though.

  • Potato

@Shepherd– a lot of people were saying they were going to pull it immediately to save themselves from “embarassment” at not staying in the 4’s or some nonsense like that.

  • Jason M

Spoken as a true Marvelite since I was a toddler, and a massive fan of Joss, this show is a HUGE disappointment. SO many missed opportunities. I mean, who wanted J August to play Luke Cage in the premiere? Who wanted the Magnetite to be a Pym Particle? It’s like they’re JUUUUSSSTTTT missing what fans want.
