Good for Macklemore and Lewis, not only do they make good music but they are not afraid to make music that has strong opinions…good for them.

  • jrc1978

…and this is why I don’t care about these awards anymore. No real music at all on the entire list. It’s all garbage. I’ll stick with my hard rock and metal…music that requires coordination, actual instruments played in harmony and no lip-syncing or minimal clothing to sell records. Sorry…had to vent. Nobody has any taste anymore. How does pop/rock combine as a category when you include Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke and Justin T?? That’s not rock. Stupid.
Rock is Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Bullet For My Valentine, etc. You can’t lump those together.

  • Ken

    ^ cool.

  • Ritchie

I like this, it will boost Justin’s album sales for the year when he wins his 5 awards.

  • BrieK

LOL at the R&B/Soul album category. No one should be nominated in both Pop/Rock album and R&B/Soul album. Real R&B/Soul artists are constantly ignored. Not that award shows matter in the grand scheme of things, it’s just annoying.
