NBC is just king at bad decisions and bad programming. All this new series comedies flopped in their premiere, as expected by nearly everyone in the industry. You just can’t get rid of ALL your products just like NBC did last May. Go On and The New Normal should have stayed. With a little re-tooling and better schedule they could’ve probably go back to their early numbers. And even so, their “late” numbers were better than this year’s premieres. So yeah, LOL on you NBC. You had two promising products whose premieres and DVR ratings showed you that you were scheduling them bad, and that maybe all they needed was a little bit of re-thinking. And you screwed them. This is what you get now.

    @SJ
MICHEAL might not be getting good ratings but that said, there is enough there I think that makes it worthy of a full season order.

Are we not supposed to be happy our show did well?

Nope Dochas; SPN fans have never been allowed to be happy, when SPN ties or beats TVD because certain TVD fans get a wee bit touchy about it

NO, be happy about your show but didn’t your mom teach you it wasn’t nice to run into someone’s face.. I like both shows the TVD AND SPN as well as scandal and revenge and I never did like anyone running each other’s ratings into the other.. There’s a lot if shows I don’t like as well.. I wouldn’t want to see my show doing well and rubbed it into the fans of shows that I didn’t like.. It’s not nice.. I’ve had shows I’ve liked that’s gotten cancelled and sometimes for whatever reason great shows don’t catch on soon enough for most and sometimes bad shows. Or shows that I don’t see interesting do good. That’s the way it works sometimes. But for those that do it will have something really great of there’s cancelled early.

Expected Glee to do well – it was a good heartfelt episode.
TBBT and Scandal did well as expected!
& lol at NBC.. did they just give up on Thurs? Seriously wouldn’t be surprised if CW passes them during sweeps..

  • Dorothy5334

I meant rubbing.. Not run and running.. I’m officially excusing myself due to the lack of sleep.. Only 2 hrs.. On that note chat with most of you tomorrow it Monday.. Nite

The crazy ones looks like it’s a goner – it’s sinking fast in the ratings.
Last seasons Thursdays were much stronger with PoI at 9 pm garnering 3.0 ratings and ca 15 million viewers. Elementary was above 2.0 all time. Not only did CBS screwed Mondays but Thursdays as well.

    Re: Crazy Ones

It faced increased competition this week with Grey’s 200th episode and Glee’s tribute episode. Hopefully it will be able to gain viewers next week. It’s developing into a really good show, but I think CBS put too much pressure on it, anchoring the timeslot as a freshman show especially since it’s very different than your typical CBS comedy. I just hope that they’ll be patient with it.

    Re: The Millers

Not really sure about this one. Do people actually like watching it, or are the ratings just that good because of TBBT?

Would be interesting to see CBS switching both show. Would The Millers still rate that good, or would TCO be able to retain more viewers from TBBT than TM does…

NBC & FOX are done on Thursday , it is a CBS & ABC game from now on , NBC will be below CW soon

Wanna know why hit shows are so rare these days? The network doesn’t give them a chance. Look at the biggest hit drama this season, Scandal. It wasn’t certain to get a second season, and it didn’t start to really get good until mid season, and look at it now. That’s what it used to be like. Cheers was almost cancelled after the first season, and look what it became. Shows that have the potential to be hits aren’t given the chance. Shows that premiere big usually only stay that way for the first season, then it freefalls and doesn’t see past season 2. Networks have to learn to be patient again.

The “networks were once patient” is a nonsense combination of selective amnesia + observation bias.

Total viewers mean nothing ratings wise.

Why does everyone think they can schedule better than the professionals.. I never get that.

Total viewers do mean something and the demo 18-49 is not so important to CBS since they go by viewers and 25-54 demo. It’s gotten to the point that the 18-49 demo is shrinking so much that almost every show will be lucky to get a 2.0. Evenurally only viewers matters just as they did from 1950 up until the early 90’s.

  • Nathan

AMAZING for Scandal! Revenge couldn’t even hit a 2.0. Lmao!! :D

  • KC

    @CrimTV
    That’s amazing, Glee rose 81%!

I agree! It just shows you what an impact the show (and Cory) had on a lot of people.

    Nonsense.

  • Scandalicious

I really wish CBS would switch The Millers with The Crazy Ones. TCO is a way better show in terms of quality.

  • Andrew

    Scandal is crushing Parenthood

  • imadiva

@katherine and us scandal fans find you and Rob60990 ad other haters more annoying, stop talking and hating on a show,if you don’t like, then don’t watch. No one cares what y’all think, so stop being jealous of the fact that it is doing well.

  • KoolRebel

The Vampire Diaries will be played this Sunday at 8PM in New York on the CW11. Parenthood sucks this season, I was thinking about dropping it myself. NBC sucks on Thursdays ever since Seinfeld & Friends left the air. CBS is good except for The Big Bang Theory which always sucks, The Crazy Ones just needs better writers & different actress as the lead. Two & a Half Men is a lot better than the last two seasons. The Millers was one of the best show in their first show, but the 2nd show was a big disappointment. Let’s hope it stays funny like the first show. See Ya!!!

I really think sometimes they pick shows to be more patient on and not patient enough when they should..

Thanks Bill… I don’t understand why people continue to say it does although it’s been clearly shown that shows are kept and cancelled based on that 18-49 demo and not the total viewers or others..

It’s so ridiculous right… They have all the right in the world to not like a show, I just don’t get it why so much hatred.. Even before I got into scandal again and with other shows I don’t like I never hate on them..
