The fourth season of The Walking Dead premieres tonight at 9PM. Last season opened to a series high 5.8 adults 18-49 rating, and the  finale hit another high with a 6.4 adults 18-49 rating.  Will tonight see another record-setting performance? Or has some of The Walking Dead fever cooled since last season? Make your prediction below and defend your choice in the comments!

  • Noel

I personally think it cooled down a bit. I haven’t seen a lot of people crazy about it like last year. It will probably still have good numbers though.

  • don

cant wait I think its going to be big

  • Targaryen

Certain new high.best show on tv

  • John A

I think its cooled. Ill go with a 5.8.

  • Melissa

  • Mike

There hasnt been alot of hype! I’m going with a 6.1

    I think 6.1 to 6.5 is attainable, so I’ll go w/ 6.3

The SNF matchup is lame, but the ALCS matchup is strong & they should meet somewhere in the middle, freeing up more viewers for TWD

  • AlanHalliwell

around 5.5 to 6.0 Not that much hype but will grow throughout the season

  • Nasir

I’m not sure. The finale was very lackluster, so it’ll be interesting to see what it gets.

  • Anthony

I’m going with a 6.0, the season two finale set up a lot of very enticing things for viewers that really set up the demand/draw for the start of season three. The season three finale closed up a lot of story lines from that season but didn’t have as big of a salacious set up for this season (so I don’t think it will attract as many new viewers as it did in the previous season).

  • CBSviewer

    6.5 and 13 million viewers.

  • zerg

I didn’t like the season finale, but overall the third season was WAY better than the second one..so I’ll go for 6.2

  • Dillan

The season final was awful, but I still think it will break a new record.

  • Dan S

I’m being more conservative & voted 5.6-6.0 but no lower.

  • BG

  • Mike

I’ve learned not to bet against TWD. It hasn’t failed to continue to break records yet.

    Poor Revenge.

  • steve

The buzz on the new season premier is already fairly poor. Sounds like we’re going back to a more “talky” season, like the year they spent talking on the farm.

  • Raul

Probably won’t beat Breaking Bads’ 6.6 rating, Im gone to have to say 6.4

  • Flame

Going conservative with a 5.7, a little below last season’s premiere. People might be a bit put off by changing the showrunner again.
