    UnderTheTable
Looks like certain shows need to start sending Nielsen money under the table. Then the ratings will suddenly start to get better. Of course, just have a preemption on a premiere date to skew the ratings on that day, and then you can just say the ratings will always be that! No measurement after the fact necessary.

Did you used to post under the name “NielsenSucks”?

@Jules Basically… Or bloody Mary if you will. Say Chicago Fire in the mirror 3 times and Dante shows up to tell you it’s been cancelled.

  • HalCapone

Funny how a one night increase or decrease of one tenth of one percent can cloud the perception of how well a show is doing. Mom is still DOA–she needs more than a few tenths of a lifeline. Sleepy Hollow will probably continue its slow decline in live demo and stay near high 1’s so it will live to see a second season unless the bottom dropped out completely which is probably not going to happen.

  • HalCapone

Is this the first time this season Voice didn’t adjust up?

  • greysfan

The Blacklist is doing great and Castle is holding firm at 2.2. Why must they put my 2 favorite shows at 10. Sleepy Hollow is still doing well and Bones is holding on ok too. Can’t stand any of CBS’s comedies except for HIMYM on Mondays. The other 2 are just horrible. Obviously Big Bang is a repeat so that doesn’t count but you get what i mean.

  • Igwell

    CBS has stopped the bleeding.

I don’t think so. Regularly-scheduled reruns tend to fall a tenth or two week-to-week, which may drag down Mom. Plus, there (probably) will be game 5 of the World Series on Oct. 28.

Mike & Molly returns on November 4. All last season, it fell 0.2 – 0.6 from its lead in, 2 Broke Girls. That won’t help Mom either.

    I love MOM….it will succeed..and is a HIT…watch!!

  • killerBee

I am trying to figure out why there are so many Sleepy Hollow haters on here cheering for the show to fail. I don’t get it.

  • L

Not great numbers for Mom, but all things considered, it’s hanging in there. Come on Anna Faris…

  • Teri

So proud of Castle! Best show on TV today. I love everything about it!

  • Amy

My problem with The Blacklist is the only character I like is Spader’s. Why are the FBI agents so dumb? Why isn’t Keen more suspicious of her husband? How does she still trust him???

  • Nasir

I hope Mom rises. It’s so hilarious.

  • Fielding

Oh, Kristin Kreuk – how far you’ve fallen! Where to now? Perhaps a SuperLana spin-off?

  • Michael

Good night on most fronts. Except for “B&B” and “Hostages”

So the next big question is…how many more weeks until Hostages is moved to Fridays/Saturdays??

  • Dan

BatB up in viewers from last week :)

  • Joseph A

    @Amy
About BLACKLIST , no surprise that the other actors are just characters in the world of Spader its just how the characters were written in Dexter ,

  • Chris_SAdvisor

Blacklist is staring to lose it’s shine. The premier showed a glimpse of less than 95% procedural, but since then, that is all it is. Adjusting down is a bad sign that it will settle some more, probably to around 2.5. Spader can hold it there by himself, though with more Serialized material, it would improve.

Actually, it is not just the characters, but half of the material in each story, which is ‘simple’ to put it mildly. Hopefully they will start getting a little more intelligent now that it has been picked-up for the full season, though that will not kick in until after the mid-season break.

@Joseph A – The other killers could be intelligent too. Just not the cops for some reason. Too bad Masuka did not figure it all out, that would have been fitting (forensics was the hero, not Dexter). ;)

  • Katherine

If you think adjustments down are “bad sign that it will settle some more” than you don’t understand why shows are adjusted.

  • Caitlyn

    @Katherine +1

  • Phill

    hang in there HoD! WOOHOOO
