Adults 18-34: Rating/Share 3.0/9 1.7/5 1.6/5 1.5/5 1.1/3 0.4/1

Last night’s Monday Night Football game (Colts/Chargers) was simulcast on the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis. As a result, NBC numbers may be inflated  and subject to more than typical adjustments in the finals.

NBC was number one in Adults 18-49 and with total viewers.

On NBC, The Voice earned a 4.5 down 2 percent from last week's 4.6 adults 18-49 rating. The Blacklist  garnered a 3.2 up 3 percent from last week’s 3.1 adults 18-49 rating.  NBC’s line up was pre-empted in Indianapolis for football, so these numbers may be inflated.

On CBS, How I Met Your Mother matched last week's 3.0 adults 18-49 rating. The timeslot premiere of 2 Broke Girls notched a 2.5 up 9 percent from last week's series low 2.3 adults 18-49 rating. Mom garnered a 1.9 down 10 percent from last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. Your predictions were accurate for 2 Broke Girls but too optimistic for Mom. Hostages matched last week's series low 1.2 adults 18-49 rating.

On FOX, Bones scored a 2.0 down 5 percent  from last week's 2.1 adults 18-49 rating. Sleepy Hollow garnered a 2.6 down 7 percent from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC,  Dancing With the Stars earned a 2.1, 5 percent from last week's 2.0 adults 18-49 rating. Castle notched  a 2.2 up 16 percent from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On the CW, the season premiere of Hart of Dixie matched last week’s 0.4. Beauty and the Beast scored a 0.3, even with last week’s adults 18-49 rating.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    last year CBS
    HIMYM 3.2

    2BG 3.4
    M&M 3.0
    HF0 2.1

Both The Blacklist and Sleepy Hollow were awesome last night. Sleepy Hollow was particularly good. It needs to stop falling! I really hope the couple week break doesn’t hurt Sleepy Hollow. That 3.0 for HIMYM against The Voice’s4.5 is very impressive and thats if it isn’t inflated at all. If The Voice adjusts down (which I kind of doubt) it will be even more impressive! I am glad 2 Broke Girls is rebounding a little.

ABC Mondays skews old it’s just funny. DWTS doing alright nothing bad but it’s bad that Castle is beating it now. I remember Castle was beating DWTS at the end of last season but already at the beginning of this season too, I mean it’s only been like four weeks. HIMYM’s doing good for a show that’s in their final season, 2BG went up but not much and Mom still went down even though it had a Big Bang repeat as it’s lead in. I see CBS will be in a LOT of trouble next year that they’ll probably move TBBT to Mondays. The Voice is still steady and didn’t fall that much considering the blind auditions are done and The Blacklist is still steady in those low 3’s which is good. Considering The Blacklist is steady and is one of the most biggest performers in DVR history, I don’t think this will be another Revolution or Smash. I just hope Blacklist doesn’t fall to 2’s at least until November.

I think Almost Human will make Sleepy Hollow sink a lot faster…

  • Emma

    Bad wolf,
There’s a reason a show like Castle is still doing well, because it IS quality. I’m not surprised at all at its longevity. I’m thankful it’s still progressing after 6 seasons. Last nights epi was great!

  • jupiter3765

and i also really do like the blacklist

  • gerry

the beasties are sure good for a laugh!

  • Petar

OR they just can end all this madness and cancel Mom move TAHM back to Monday for final season and bring back POI to thursday. Sure POI take hit but in january should be able to rise to its normal levels.

  • Tom

“Beauty and the Beast is a disaster. It will probably be replaced by Starcrossed in the midseason….”

BATB was already losing viewers late last season, so I find it hard to believe that the CW didn’t foresee this happening. Expect BATB to run the entire season. I also doubt if the CW is losing money on this show. Moreover, although it’s too early to be certain, Star Crossed appears to have a lot of its own defects, starting with a weak leading actress (Aimee Teegarden) and a storyline that looks to be a just another thinly disguised high school melodrama.

  • lisa

Sleepy Hollow has a break coming soon too. It’s meager audience will fotget about it in that time, I expect it to be around 1.8 when it returns.

  • Sierra

@Matt: not that strange considering BBT brings in a lot more viwers, but most of them are old lol

  • sh

This isn’t a bad drop for Sleepy Hollow. Down 2 tenths and this isn’t even the finals, it maybe very well go up a tenth or 2 and be even with the 2.8 from episode 4. It’s doing pretty damn steady, in my opinion. I hope everyone catches up and tunes in because John Noble is coming to town, y’all.

  • steven

Oh come on, why does Sleepy Hollow keep going down? It just got renewed.

  • Kerri

My understanding is Sleepy Hollow does excellent in DVR live 1-3 rating so even though these ratings may not reflect great here, I think the combination makes it a success.

  • Sierra

@Tom: I dont see Starcrossed doing any better than BATB or HOD. It’ll flop

  • Brandy

Glad 2Broke Girls, is upsad HoD & BaTB did bad.

Sleepy Hollow is the best show on Mondays. Why is it still dropping?

  • senor chang

yay for NBC’s one of two good nights. The Voice still strong, The Blacklist remarkably stable (though let’s not forget that Revolution started strong, too…)

ABC is ABC. CBS’s move worked or didn’t work depending on how you look at it: 2BG was up slightly but Mom was down (albeit with a much weaker lead-in, not just because the numbers were lower but because it was a repeat). I still maintain that Mom is on the bubble, though, as it’s bottomed-out fairly early and it’s doing about as well as CBS can expect it to right now. lots of midseason comedies on tap, though. this will get interesting soon.

looks like Sleepy Hollow has stabilized. yay. i still have to watch the show but i’ve heard nothing but good things.

still awful for the CW but if they have to sacrifice Mondays for the sake of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday…so be it.

  • tahina

3 weeks without Sleepy Hollow due to baseball. Hope it won’t deep it any further because I really like the show and the actors chemistry. Also, The Blacklist is my other new favorite show, glad is doing so well. I used to like Castle, but the show has died for me a bit, still watching it for Stana, always have..Nat, not so much. ;)

  • Seth

    Outstanding for The Blacklist.
