Editor's Note: Television viewing on platforms such as DVR, video-on-demand and online streaming continues to grow at a fast pace.  Last season during premiere week, Live+7 CBS audiences grew 20% over Live+SD in total viewers, up from 17%  in 2012.  In A18-49, Live+7 levels grew 29% from Live+SD, up from 23% one year ago.  Additionally, many CBS shows experienced as much as a 50% increase in total viewers once full 30-day multi-platform audiences were accounted for.  In an effort to quantify how much non-linear viewing adds to Live+SD audiences, CBS Research will provide estimates for series which will include DVR playback as well as multi-platform viewership.

NCIS still going strong in 18 – 49 demo and total viewers in it’s eleventh season on television.
NCIS: LA and Person of Interest going okay in the ratings as well.

“NCIS” was fantastic, as usual. Great show, glad to see the gain from last week, and I’m glad to see it doing so well in its 11th season. Whether people consider it an old folks’ show or not, there’s no denying its ratings are great.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” was also good. The writing for the show keeps improving as the series progresses. Last night’s episode was probably one of the best-written episodes I’ve seen of the show.

“Person of Interest” was also great. Shaw haters should be happy because last night’s episode was pretty Shaw-light. Some nice twists, and the ending was pretty unpredictable…which is something I like.

I love Person of Interest,it always has an interesting plot twist near the end of each episode, and is always keeping Team Machine on their toes, week after week, this show is NEVER predictable, and that’s a good thing. WAY TO GO IN THE RATINGS,POI,keep it up!!! :)
