@Phoenixlighter: I’m starting to think you’re a troll since you ingore half of what I write. I was comparing TO and PLL since you claim they share audiences.

  • Brandy

    YY TO beat SPN!
I watch bothPLL & TO but in my time zone PLL is on at 6 & TO at 8 so I’ll watch PL on DVr at 7 then TO live at 8.

  • Phoenixlighter

@JC maybe, but the Halloween Special of PLL will probably be the episode that fans have been waiting for since the beginning of the series. It might be the return of Alison and it’s being promoted hugely towards this. So yeah, CC is right.

  • Phoenixlighter

uuuhmm… I started to confound CC and JC. Well it’s pretty late here .. hah. so good night ^^

  • Tessa

I’m baffled why people think the CW should be worried about PLL and RW when it went against NCIS and The Voice this week and held its own? Those are two of the highest rated shows on TV. How much more challenging can two cable shows be? And before you argue audience crossover, The Voice has one of the youngest demographics.

  • CC

@Phoenixlighter, I’m not mistaken, you are. I wasn’t talking about TIME SLOTS and competing against each other. JC was talking about audience overlap and what audience did over lap would probably stay loyal to TO/SPN, and my comment was directed toward what he had written.

I was simply stating, taking only the sub-population of shared audiences between TVD/TO and PLL/Ravenswood into account, I think PLL/Ravenswood will win out in Live ratings, because of social media. But, I was also curious of how large that shared audience is, while I’m not concerned at all about the shared audience between SPN & Ravenswood, because the shared audience of PLL and SPN can’t be very large at all.

When POI goes under 2 and possibly 1.5 in the spring it will be moved or cancelled. It was always about this incredibly poor start of low 2 demos collapsing in the spring leading to POI being cancelled.

  • Kenny

The Goldberg`s is a very good show, I wish more people would give a chance, the woman who plays Beverly is the breakout star of the show

  • MARTY

theisssuesarenow 1 last time poi was just sold into syndication, they want at least 4 seasons end of discussion

  • Bored Now

    @Theisssuesarenow

You’re delusional, but it’s funny so keep it up.

By the way, you know that syndication deal that you said POI would never get? Kinda got it already…

  • Michael

    Eeek!

“Shields” is still dropping.. so for those thinking this show is “Safe”…I might want to start reconsidering that :/

My Surprise of the night: The Biggest Loser. Very modest numbers. I know that’s a premiere, but it shows that show isn’t dead…especially on a network like NBC.

Bad news for the “Goldbergs” your heading to RIP land. Same for Mindy Project/Trophy Wife.

  • JC

@CC, Sorry this is just being particular, but I’m a girl in 16-30 range, not a guy :) Also, you must not be familiar with TVD/TO social media fandom, because spoilers are rampant there too.

  • MARTY

theisssuesarenow the only real issue is if wgn wants 100 episodes which would mean season 5

  • CC

@JC – Oh my! I’m sorry, what SHE has written, not HE! I guess I was just referring to personal experience on social media, where people I am connected to tend to post about PLL with no mention ever about TVD – I seem to have to go to TVD fan forums/websites for that.

I do agree that TO and SPN are aimed at a mature audience, I was actually just thinking about that and how much more sophisticated and mature TO was compared to TVD. Hadn’t even thought of that when taking into consideration the size of the shared audience.

  • JC

@CC No worries! I’m not that familiar with PLL social media (I watch it more casually only because I have friends who are diehards), so I totally understand how much personal experience factors into one’s perspective.

I agree with you that TO is more mature than TVD. I actually think there might be more overlap with TVD and PLL, though who knows. It’s funny how TO and SPN are better paired shows. I never would’ve thought that last year.

  • Dan

Well Dads and Brooklyn Nine Nine getting the same numbers means that FOX cant call Dads the weak link since its the second highest rated comedy of Fox’s night tied with B-99 and higher then Mindy Project.

I still think Dads and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will get full seasons

    22 for Brooklyn Nine-Nine

    19 for Dads

And still great for Originals and Supernatural even if SPN was adjusted down.

Maybe the rise for Originals and Dads/B-99 has to do with no Voice at 8?

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    @Thedelusionsarenow

Person Of Interest is up 10 percent from last week!

  • Theisssuesarenow

I missed the news of POI “syndication” Wgna is something I had never of but is available on dish and directv but I do not do satellite. I am totally skeptical That Wgna would be able to keep a show on CBS but maybe it will.

  • Theisssuesarenow

I always said no matter what poi did in the fall in the spring it would decline so bad which is what got it kicked off thursday as it would be beaten by ga every week but on at 10 on Tuesday it’s going to be so much worse!

  • Phoenixlighter

Alright now I get it, sorry CC and JC. :)

ABCFamily is being extra smart though, airing the huge Halloween Episode and then Ravenswood. In the meantime they put PLL on hiatus and the PLL audiences are going to stick with Ravenswood automatically.
