CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 13, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.4/10 with 4.96m viewers, 1.3/07 in adults 25-54.
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +5% in viewers (5.20m from 4.98m), up +3% in households (3.6/10 from 3.5/09), and even in adults 25-54 (1.3/07) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Mo Rocca’s interview with NHL legend Bobby Orr, Martha Teichner’s report on how explorers from Portugal changed the world, David Pogue’s story on a new wave of scientists modeling robots after creatures in nature, Anthony Mason’s look at the history of Abraham Zapruder and his film capturing the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, and Lesley Stahl’s interview with actors Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen.
