Thursday Night Football Seattle Arizona

Thursday Night Football  was the top cable program with a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating down from last week's 3.1.  Pawn Stars came in second with a 1.1 up  from last week's 1.0 adults 18-49 rating,.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Thursday night's episode of a specific show

Damn! Tamar & Vince shot up this week! I expect a Season 3 renewal announcement soon.

  • Originals

ouch for covert affairs and white collar :(

  • Is this right?

The Eric Andre Show on adult swim did a .8 18-34 and a .6 18-49… did it still not crack the top 100 shows 25-54?

  • Terri

Good performance by White Collar first fall premier, no lead in and no promotion. Pathetic covert can’t do better and build on with a solid lead in audience from WC.

  • DeeEmStyles

Thankfully Impact Wrestling went up a bit. Can’t wait for their signature Bound for Glory PPV event this Sunday!

  • Mon

Covert Affairs should just get back to being about 75% procedural. It’s the reason why it was a hit right out of the gate when it premiered. This season has been heavily serialized. They can’t just expect the viewers to jump in midseason and understand everything that’s happening. The season started weakly so there’s not much audience to begin with. Anyway, the season has been good so far. It held up nicely with White Collar against broadcast TV competition last night.

It’s kind of ironic TBBT repeats are the weakest every Thursday the same night a new episode airs. No idea how Saturday reruns do, maybe even weaker. The occasional Sunday runs do really well despite facing much tougher competition.

    @Terri
You’re crazy. You said WC had a “good performance” but CA did “pathetic” and “can’t do better and build on with a solid lead-in” when they both got 0.6 and WC aired at an earlier time and had a 0.7 lead-in.

ALCS coverage on FOX had a 2.5 demo

*looks around cautiously for overzealous H50 fangirls*

H50, where are you—-again? This is the(12th?)week that H50 has been on TNT and at different times and all it has done is fall until off the 100 chart. That’s 3 months…

Yes, I know it had a delayed start and it didn’t start at the usual time but that could also have been helpful. Viewers that didn’t know it was on TNT or were curious to watch it after the sports could have and it could have picked up new viewers. But it obviously didn’t.

CBS wants H50 to continue so it can build up episodes for syndication but I really wonder how that works for TNT?

Dan made a good point. CBS wants to reach 100 episodes and the only way I can see that TNT would agree to that with H50’s dismal showing is that they are already contracted to pay the rights through 100 episodes.

I can’t see any business wanting to pay for more episodes at 2.5 million for this kind of result.

Maybe TNT will tell CBS that they will buy more episodes at an extremely reduced price but it would have to be worth it for CBS, since CBS is making very little from ad money.

I would love to know more about how syndication works.

  • Shepherd

I prefer Covert Affairs as a serialized show; I just wish they had done a better job though. Despite the fall in quality, seeing Piper as a brunette last night was worth it! ;-)

Covert has been weak from the start, it’s no WC. Which will always benefit from Matt’s quickly growing fame. White Collar in its 5th season does as well with no original ahead of it plus always top time shifter. It would appear WC has some great dems. BMW wouldn’t be sponsoring with product placement unless it did. Be curious to see income dems. There was an S Class launch ad in there too.

  • Ellen in NYC

If not for a Tivo season pass, I wouldn’t have realized White Collar was returning last night. I’m losing interest in Covert Affairs.

  • Bobby

I love Covert Affairs since it became serialized. That’s probably the reason it’s the only USA show I’m still watching as I can’t last with the fluff/procedural formats unless it has a really strong cast who is able to keep me interested in it. Granted, I liked Covert from the start, I’m not sure I’d still be watching now that I’ve picked up so much stuff since it began if it was still like most of the other USA shows as opposed to the way it became in season three to now.

  • JW

TNF’s ratings prove that market size makes a difference. Remember, that 3.1 rating last week involved New York and Chicago, two of the country’s three largest markets. Seattle and Phoenix come well down the line, so comparing one TNF game to another is apples-and-oranges.

  • cimmer

I was hoping for better for WC, at least a 0.7 but as long as it doesn’t slip or much I guess I’ll take the 0.6, not much choice. I’m kind of guessing this might be WC’s last season, possibly. I wasn’t a big fan of the story arc last season so I hope this season’s is much better. Not a big Sarah fan either but I guess if he has to have a girlfriend I’ll deal with Sarah. I wouldn’t mind seeing the show go in a different direction and have Peter leave the FBI, Neal get the anklet off and he and Neal start their own company and get away from all these secret government conspiracies.

  • aok

Reruns, cartoons and Pawn Stars. Says a lot for our society.

  • Tessa

I’m loving this season of White Collar (unlike the last season.) It’s off to a great start and the story sounds compelling. It reminds me of the old day and now with Warren Kole and Mark Shepard joining the cast it could only get better.

  • Josh

    wheres the daily show?

  • JR

Conan’s ratings have been pretty terrible lately even with the Comedy Central shows in repeats this week. I don’t get how TBS thinks they can successfully launch another late-night show (The Pete Holmes Show) with numbers like that for its lead-in.

Why is O’Reilly Factor on this list ?
