Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Pretty sure Blue Bloods will get a 5th season, for one the show has consistently kept the same level of viewership for its entire run thus far. I look at the numbers and see nothing but consistency. It has only dropped below 10 million viewers once(9.77 mill) in the 70 or so episodes that have aired.

It may be an old skewing show but at least it consistently performs for the network which will absolutely go in its favor, it’ll stay on Friday, no doubt.

I did see Welcome To The Family got cancelled, and AFTER I wrote my post no less!! Haha. No biggy. Guess I’ll make some time this week to see the episodes of that show that did air. Regardless of SSTW’s final fate I’m still pretty impressed a brand new show like that got a 1 on a Friday night. We will see, but yeah unfortunately looking at its first few weeks it’s not far behind WTTF I’m afraid.

Reign is surprisingly good. I can’t wait until the next episode.

  • Feedback

    Why is LMS below Chef??

  • anna g

And I say this as a huge fan in season one, and someone who missed some of season three and might never catch up with all of season four as I do feel it has gone downhill. I’m not a fangirl of the show anymore, but it definitely isn’t some terrible loser show.
Hej Bluejays I really encourage yoy to give H50 another shot. There is a new team of writers this season and they are doing really good job. So far I liked all episodes.

Carrie Diaries has fans. And wihiut monday competition, it can be up. And it was number 2 in streaming for the cw. Which means that without competition people are going to watch it, who catched it online. And the carrie diaries had never a lead in or a strong lead out. 90210 did awful in numers. Arrow had supernatural, and batb had tvd. Antm can help it for sure.

  • Sean

ABC needs to cancel Neighbors, its dragging this whole lineup down from where it will really be.

  • Amy

I love Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods!

  • alvar

Agreed. ABC were regularly winning Fridays last season.

  • David

The Neighbors is probably a money loser compared to Malibu Country. Single cams are more expensive to make than Multi-cams. The ratings for Malibu Country have proven to be higher then TN on fridays. Really, what advertiser would spend $50-75K for a 30sec spot on TN??? Malibu Country with Reba had a much wider advertising base to demand bigger bucks. I just cant figure out why ABC did not renew Malibu C… The ratings were good for a friday night.

  • Grace

Hawaii 50 crap . No surprise BB gains more viewers after it.

  • Riley

Last man standing should be after shark tank. It would raise its 18-49 numbers

  • steve

Bye Bye H5O only more episodes for syndication will save it

  • Nick

ABC really needs to abandon this TGIF block and move Last Man Standing to Wednesdays pronto. It could’ve been a Middle-sized hit if they had moved it to Wed. 8:30 all along. Instead, they’ve been letting it die on Fridays for the last year.

Yeah, that was such an “inteligent” comment! By the way, how old are you? 12 or less?

  • John A

Cant wait for The Carrie Diaries Next Week. It will do the same as Reign Repeat.

  • Ray

Renewing The Neighbors was a mistake, and so was canceling Malibu Country. One thing I don’t understand is why didn’t ABC try to air Malibu Country last year Wednesdays at 9:30pm, right after Modern Family and before Nashville. It definitely would have given Nashville a little more benefit than whatever aired there last year (Suburgatory), and definitely better fit than Super Fun Night this year. Suburgatory should have aired in place of The Neighbors, and The Neighbors should have been a midseason replacement comedy for Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 and/or Happy Endings. I don’t think ABC treats their comedies the way they should. Dramas seem to get better treatment.

  • David

I think you are right on the money with that schedule!! Dam… wish ABC would listen to you!!

  • Chad

Well, I know this is fruitless, but I have to throw in my support for The Neighbors. Despite the negative reviews and the poor ratings, I genuinely find the show funny. It’s new & different than any other show on TV. I really hope the ratings continue to improve and that it gets renewed.

For the record, I also loved Malibu Country and miss seeing it each week. Last Man Standing, eh, not so much (sorry).

    @ SHERI,

That’s because Diana, Tim, Randy, etc. are the same person aka @mccrazyfan on Twitter. She’s a nasty piece of work and pathetic old woman who followed Alex O’Loughlin around when he was in LA and has been lashing out for years because he “left her” and is happy with life in Hawaii. So she is all over online creating countless sock puppets to regurgitate her spiel with…they even talk to themselves and agree with each other as she’s done here again. Demented, but this is her life.
