Thanks ABC, I needed a good laugh this morning.

  • M

Wow ABC… When are you going to realize you need to change your schedule?… First you cancel one of my favorite shows and now your letting two more of them die… Definitely not watching any new shows on abc next year and really didn’t this year

  • Mindy

hahahhaha keep trying ABC. Maybe you believe your own crap

  • AllOfHerTw!st

ABC’s Betrayal was up week to week by 24% in Total Viewers and 13% in Adults 18-49

    Six seasons and a movie!

  • Babar Suhail

    This is just sad.

  • hanp

I think ABC is trying to be sarcastic. lol

  • Charmed

    Bona-fide HIT! Renew it now

  • dantas

Shut up, ABC board. You’re drunk. Go home, please.

FALSE: “NFL overrun-boosted CBS pushing its lineup back approximately 30 minutes”

CBS starts late game at 4:25PM and primetime at 7:30PM on DH games. This is the way it is planned. At least if ABC is going to trump Betrayal’s 0.9, use facts.

They didn’t state what the “audience” was for The Good Wife. Wonder why…

  • r0ckmypants

@DenverDean – *sigh* It’s STILL delay, planned or not.

ABC press release always makes me laugh, they can make a bad thing looking like a great thing,it’s too bad that doesn’t help to improve ratings.

  • JR35

Betrayal is the headline news? Oh, ABC. :)

  • Networkman

ABC really shouldn’t try to spin anything positive about Betrayal. It really should be cancelled effect immediately. But because it is only schedule for 13 episodes anyway, ABC may simply leave it there so it can beat The Good Wife and The Mentalist in Women 18-34. I feel Body of Proof could of done better here than Betrayal.

  • BigBrotherFan

    Got to love ABC

watch in 4 days Betrayal gets canned lol

  • south africa

Revenge is a great tv series wow and the ratings keep rising week to week………awesome and dont hate ABC for uts great job.

  • FRED

NO ABC you don’t have another Scandal on your hands!

  • Fox

Regarding Revenge’s 1.5 in the demo: ABC cancelled Sunday night’s “Brothers & Sisters,” yet it’s 18-49 average during it’s final season was 2.6. The lowest it ever was in that demo during it’s last year was still a tenth of a point higher at 1.6.

But keep in mind, ABC’s average as a network was much higher back then too. ABC’s average keeps dropping every year. That was during the 2010-2011 season, we are now in the 2013-2014 season, where ABC’s average is at the lowest levels its been in a long time. Expectations are lowered year after year for shows. If we were to go by what regularly pulls in a 2.6, all we’d have is Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy for dramas (and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for now), and Modern Family for comedies. Revenge will be safe as long as it doesn’t go any lower. Looking at what the ABC pulled in last week:

    Modern Family – 4.1
    Scandal – 3.3
Toy Story of Terror – 3.1
    Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – 2.8
    Grey’s Anatomy – 2.7
    Castle – 2.2
Dancing with the Stars – 2.1
    Super Fun Night – 2.1
Once Upon a Time – 2.0 (Preliminary ratings – not final)
    Shark Tank – 2.0
Back in the Game – 1.9
    The Goldbergs – 1.6
    Nashville – 1.6
Revenge – 1.5 (Preliminary ratings – not final)
    Last Man Standing – 1.3
    Trophy Wife – 1.3
    20/20 – 1.2
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland – 1.2
    America’s Funniest Home Videos – 1.1
    The Neighbors – 1.0
Betrayal – 0.9 (Preliminary ratings – not final)
    Scandal (R) – 0.6
Lucky 7 – Already Canceled, No Longer Airing

So ABC is looking to average a 1.9 this week in adults 18-49 (if I did my calculations correct).
