Sunday's The Walking Dead episode dropped from the ginormous premiere ratings last week to a still gigantic 13.9 million viewers and a 7.1 adults 18-49 rating. Still, your predictions were a little optimistic.

    Really pathetic People :)

Of course it was gonna fall, people are so dumb voting here, its like they expect every show to rise when its obvious they would fall

Does anyone know how much AMC is charging to advertise during Walking Dead now?

Rumor has it a 30 second spot now cost one kidney and the promise of your first born child. ;-)

I really don’t know why this show is loved so much but this rating is amazing.

This season hasn’t impressed me so far…. Im not going to lie, I think killing off Andrea was a bad idea. As far as the ratings go, theyre still stellar. For everyone to say how much it dropped… any show is expected to drop after a premiere. you can argue that the ratings are still awesome. And I doubt anyone at AMC is crying themselves to sleep.

Cost per spot in WD for finales and premiers run around 575K. From what I understand you can’t spot buy the show, but have to purchase a package that includes encores and Talking Dead with an average spot cost of around 350k per spot.

Bigger drop than i expected but still great numbers
