TV Land presents…

Are you ready to get spooky and kooky this Halloween? Well, you’re in luck, because there’s no one who celebrates Halloween quite like The Conners!

TV Land will honor these infamous pranksters with a two-day marathon that showcases “Roseanne’s” most SPOOKTACULAR Halloween episodes on:

Saturday, October 26th from 3:00 AM-6:00 AM ET/PT

Sunday, October 27th from 3:00 PM-6:00 PM ET/PT

The marathon event will kick off with a trick-filled episode featuring guest star George Clooney, and continues through all the “Roseanne” Halloween episodes including the “Tunnel of Terror”; Roseanne’s visit from the ghosts of Halloween past, present and future; the arrival of baby Jerry Garcia Conner; and finally, the last “Roseanne” Halloween episode that spoofed “Rosemary’s Baby.” The episodes will encore on:

Wednesday, October 30th from 2:30AM-6:00AM ET/PT

Thursday, October 31st from 2:30 AM-5:00 AM ET/PT

Don’t miss this Franken-tastic event, only on TV Land!

I do remember that Roseanne always put on great Halloween episodes, with the exception of the surreal final season that pretty much destroyed the entire show.

  • smith

It’s not worth watching this since TV Land chops/edits the episodes so drastically that key plot points often get cut out.

    @ smith

I couldn’t have said it better! In all fairness though, everybody edits all episodes of all shows nearly to the point of unrecognizable.

NOTICED none of the marathons are airing in primetime!

  • Jagger Dagger

The Roseanne Halloween eps were always a lot of fun.
Unfortunatly, most sitcoms these days think they need to do a Halloween show now as well, with usually not as good results.

    That. photo. I can’t even.

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually remembered on last Friday (October 18, 2013) marked 25 years to the day that the very first episode of ROSEANNE aired in 1988. Unbelievable that that much time has gone by……

  • TimsDale4ever

On another note, why air it at all if most of the time it’s on at like 3 in the morning. Seriously????

  • Networkman

Roseanne and John Goodman had such great chemistry. And then you throw in the goofy Laurie Metcalf and the show was bound to have wonderful Halloween episodes. I don’t feel any other comedies had consistently entertaining Halloween episodes like Roseanne. It was truly a funny entertaining family comedy.

Roseanne sucks. Antenna TV has a lot better Halloween marathons with Bewitched all day on the 30th and Alfred Hitchcock Presents all day on the 31st.

Actualy tvland is the worst not only is the “episodes chopped up with comercials I

n crazy spots and the intro and ending airing on top of each other…they also do this weird ‘thing where they speed up the episodes where the chwrafters talk a step below chickmunks…it is odd and a tvland way to air 10min commercial breaks

  • lizziemarie

love roseanne; but so true about the edits. Try utube if you have; i have watched were i have seen more of the episode. The end of the dark ages episode when they chase laurie around the set trying to get her emmy is funny.

  • Dan

@Jagger Dagger – That’s why Modern Family does Halloween eps every 2 years. No reason to repeat the plot same 5 times.

However the Roseanne eps were always funyn.
