Great, a glorified and televised Save Our Show poll.

Let the battle between delusional fandoms commence!

These award shows are invented for networks like: CW and ABC Family!

Quite possibly one of the worst awards shows out there.

Vote early, vote often. That is the allowed voting at the People’s Choice Awards, and it’s the main reason almost nobody takes it seriously anymore. When it first started in the mid 1970’s; it was a vote once and that’s it. Back then it meant something as a true indicator of what the majority of people liked. A few years ago, however, they allowed people to vote again and again, as often as they wanted to, thereby rendering the award nearly worthless.
Also, since the “winners” almost always show up to say thank you for the award, it also probably very likely that they also give the award to those people who will agree ahead of time to acept the statue, while those people who say no thanks do not have be presented it.
As far as entertainment awards shows are concerned: the People’s Choice Award is near the bottom of the list.

How come NCIS, the #1 show in the world never gets a nomination?

NCIS got a nomination last year, for Best Crime Drama, and lost to Castle.
