Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for  live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

And Chicago Fire DIPS yet again. Looks like those that said the superior Person Of Interest would be overtaking it were on point completely. And this is STILL with an inflated number thanks to lead-in The Voice and a possible (and probably) adjustment down later today.

    Now, some interesting points…

    1. Chicago Fire is OFF NBC’s schedule until November 12th. Yep, no new episodes for the next two weeks. I guess NBC isn’t as “HIGH” on the show as so many people on here said they were. 3 weeks off? Doesn’t seem like something a network would do who was invested in a show.

    2. Okay, so it is now 2 weeks since that individual said NBC was going to announce a 2-season renewal for the show. He/she said the announcement was coming in 2 weeks so…. ??? Where? Where? LOL

    3. When the show retrns in 3 weeks, it is going to be down sharply compared to last night’s already dismal performance, meaning my prediction that the show is heading south is right on point. Those mid to high 1’s in the demo are coming people.

    4. I would say see you all in 3 weeks but I still have a declining American Horror Story to poke fun at on Thursday afternoons.

Love being right so much. Oh, and of course, for those who want it, take a look at the half hour breakdowns and marvel at that huge drop at the half point. :D

  • Glue

Good for the Originals! I thought PLL would affect it more.

  • eu

    good for spn

  • Petar

EPIC episode from POI! Beat CF even with the voice.

  • Ashley

Man, I wish POI would rise. Such a great show. Marvel is doing ok but they really can’t keep going down. SPN still great numbers.

  • dexx

I get that you have this whole gimmick of posting about Chicago Fire but you spend way too much time playing your little character. Pretty pathetic.

  • Dillan

Good for TO considering it was up against PLL.

  • Doug

    SHIELD just keeps sinking….

  • Paul P

Last nights episode of POI was one of the best ever. Glad to see it back on top of hour & will continue to grow.

  • DenverDean

TV was 4.3 at 9:30 and CF down to 2.3 at 10 p.m., which probably includes a minute of TV. It’s losing 50% of demo.

    CBS stronger because no baseball.

  • Person of Interest

Anyone knows the half hours for Person of Interest? Thanks in advance :D

  • luka

    Yeah Brooklyn!!

  • Dante

Sorry, my fault. Please ignore everything I said above. I didn’t take my meds.

  • jupiter3765

    good for the goldbergs

  • Petar

Outstanding Carter. Amazing episode. People watch Person of interest its really amazing show. Best crime drama. Period.

  • Wright

Hopefully SPN and TO adjust up. I’m really hoping that PLL and Ravenswood didn’t impact their ratings. How much longer can PLL continue? 4 girls who haven’t learned how to change their phone numbers and confront their nemesis. They need to grow a backbone.

  • Targaryen

did anyone really think that CF would always beat POI?Really?

  • feinn

Ok for originals against PLL. Be.interesting how much they lost in female and perv demo last night…regardless cw. Should order back 9

  • taylor
