CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Oct. 20, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/10 with 5.32m viewers, 1.2/06 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +9% in viewers (from 4.87m) and was up +3% in households (from 3.5/10).
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +6% in viewers (5.32m from 5.02m) and up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Susan Spencer’s report on the new science of resilience and how people bounce back from adversity, Lee Cowan’s interview with actress Mary Steenburgen, Anthony Mason’s profile of former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board Alan Greenspan, Serena Altschul’s look at the surrealist work of Belgian artist René Magritte, and David Martin’s interview with Medal of Honor recipient Army Capt. Will Swenson.
