Dracula-5-550x366

NBC's Friday night is getting a whole lot spookier tonight with the third season premiere of Grimm and the series premiere of Dracula. Last year, Grimm's second season premiered to a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, and the season finale fell to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Will this fairytale procedural stay stable for season 3? And can Dracula, which has had mixed reviews, make an impression tonight? Make your predictions below, and tell us your thought on this pair of premieres in the comments!

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Grimm’s two highest numbers (2.2 and 2.1) both came in the last Friday in October near Halloween. It premiered against a 7 point world series final game and got a 2.2 and received and spiked to 2.1 last year at this time. I say it will hit a 2 at least.

I have no interest in Grimm. I’ve tried numerous times to get into that show and I just don’t care for it or the actors. Now, I’m really curious about Dracula. I really like Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He seems strong in this role. Vampires normally don’t appeal to me but I’m going to have to check this out.

    Dateline NBC:1.6
Grimm: 2.0 (Just for this week, it should actually win the 9pm hour)
    Dracula: 1.7

I am betting 1.7-1.8 for Grimm and 1.6 for Dracula – the promo looks really awful.

  • Charmed

    No Carrie Diaries poll? :(

  • California

    Grimm – 1.8
    Dracula – 1.5

  • DryedMangoez

Grimm usually does very well around Halloween, so I think 2.0+.
    Dracula around 1.7.

  • Seth

Dracula 2.4 – Heavily promoted with star power

  • Jo

    Why Friday? Not good.

  • Theoacme

I like a 2.0 for both Grimm and Dracula (Grimm has been promoted fairly well too) – premiering near Halloween helps.

We’ll have to see how compatible they are together next Friday – I predict strong sampling tonight will mask any compatibility analysis.

  • Dave

Forget Grimm and Dracula, let’s talk about The Carrie Diaries!! :D

    I predict a 0.2 with 500k total viewers lol :D

  • Shepherd

    G – 1.7-1.8
    D – 1.2-1.3

  • HeadlessHorseman (formerly JacobYates)

    @Seth
Are you kidding? 2.4? It’ll get a 1.8 at best!

And what star power are you speaking of? Aside from Meyers, there isn’t a single actor or actress in the show that’s well known in the U.S.

  • Jay

Well, first of all it is a Friday. Do not like goofy fantasy shows, but think Grimm will get a 1.6 which is okay for a Friday. Dracula, God help us, will do about the same due to promotion, but then tank in future weeks. Enough already with vampires and the like.

  • Shepherd

    TCD – 0.4

  • Pete

    Grimm 1.8
    Dracula 1.1

Ratings are down all over and Dracula will tank hard.

  • CreacK

    Grimm 1.9
    Dracula 1.7

  • David Howell

I’m thinking a 1.8/1.6. Mockingbird Lane got a 1.5 and it was a busted pilot.

  • HeadlessHorseman (formerly JacobYates)

    @Shepherd

.4? There’s no way TCD could get a .4 on Friday night when it could barely manage a .4 on Monday. Expect .3 at best, but likely a .2

  • Mike 1

NBC will the night to watch on Fridays. Grimm + Dracula = Awesome

  • THE OLD MAN

Went with 1.8-1.9 for Grimm & 1.3-1.5 for Dracula
