Guess the Ratings for Tonight's Premieres of 'Grimm' and 'Dracula' (Poll)

NBC's Friday night is getting a whole lot spookier tonight with the third season premiere of Grimm and the series premiere of Dracula. Last year, Grimm's second season premiered to a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, and the season finale fell to a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating. Will this fairytale procedural stay stable for season 3? And can Dracula, which has had mixed reviews, make an impression tonight? Make your predictions below, and tell us your thought on this pair of premieres in the comments!

I watched six of so episodes of Grimm last year when there was nothing else on I like.

I’ll be watching the Treehouse of Horror Simpsons special during that time, but I will probably watch Grimm until Raising Hope returns

I don’t know anyone who isn’t waiting for Grimm, so I expect over a 2.

Dracula, not so much, but maybe the 1st half hour will hold up.

Another vampire show…really ??! – Another one ????- it will have one or two good weeks b/c of Halloween – everyone is in the mood to be creeped out – but it won’t last.

Nielson will suck the life out of Dracula before he preys on too many victims…

Take a hint Dracula – you’re already dead!

  • Parker Wyeth

    Grimm 1.9
    Dracula 2.1

  • s0303

no world series tonight should help..

    grimm 1.9
    dracula 1.6

    My predictions:

    Grimm 1.9
    Dracula 1.6
    The Carrie Diaries 0.3

The previous two Grimm episodes that aired just before Halloween did well:

    10/28/2011 2.1
    10/26/2012 2.0

I see the season 3 premiere also doing well: 1.9.

This is a smart move for NBC in having Grimm serve as a lead-in for Dracula. At least people will tune in to see the premiere episode out of curiosity. Hannibal had a 1.6 with a 1.1 rated Go On as a lead-in on 4/4/2013. Dracula should at least do as well as Hannibal’s premiere.

Carrie Bradshaw should write in her diary that she got a 0.3 rating for the season 2 premiere.

I like the fact that Dracula is going back to what a vampire is – no sparkling or stupid teens with some doppelgänger and annoying originals. There is something about JRM that has me hooked so I will tune in. But it is a Friday night so if the show gets a 1.6 I think that is a pretty good result. I don’t expect it to get any higher…..

I want Dracula to be great, but my instinct is saying “1.1”. I have no idea how that number is for Fridays on NBC, but it would be pretty good for a vampire series on the CW. :-)

Dracula was just a disaster. I’m very excited to see next weeks ratings. Had no idea you could butcher Dracula this way… I’m baffled.

  • Jon

    Grimm 1.7 and Dracula 1.3

  • k:Alex

I just saw the episode, the first 30 minutes where boring, a stupid love story without any action.
But the last 10 minutes where interesting, dark, action and a angry Dracula, that’s how it must be.

I will try episode 2, but if that is the same (30 boring minutes),, it’s over for me.

I thought Dracula was pretty good. Not as good as Hannibal but considering what else is on network TV I was quite surprised.
