  • Derrick

Amazing they label just GH and DAYS but not Y&R and B&B!

Very happy for Y&R, B&B and DAYS……………..Delia’s death was heartbreaking but the acting was top notch!

  • kk

Oh? Did B&B and Y&R also hit 2 year highs? Maybe that is why they were not mentioned in the heading label?

  • Lynn

B&B gained the most household viewers last week, but is that mentioned in the headline? There is such a huge bias on this site in favor of DAYS and GH. Let’s be fair!

  • Bart

Um, These are the ratings for the week of 10/14-10/18, not 10/7-10/11.

  • Shawn

  • Lisa

What is with the whining about the headline? It’s babyish to cry and moan about which shows are mentioned there. They all still got the numbers they got, after all. Yes, Y&R and B&B did well, but GH and Days both had two-year highs. IMO, that’s clearly more worthy of note. This yelping of “It’s not faaaaiiiir!” makes you sound like a bratty four-year-old. Why not be happy that all the shows went up instead of finding the negative side?

  • DenverDean

B&B up almost 500K (+15%) from last year when it was hitting recent highs. It’s great to see all soaps doing well.

  • Bexx

Nice job Y&R, and it’s nice to see DOOL holding steady for the time being.

  • Bexx

Do spare us, Lisa! There have been people who complained about the headlines in the past, those who support the Vampire soap.

  • PatF

Glad for YR, even though I don’t like the storyline that got the ratings increase. Phelps is just a big mess.

    Kudos to the actors, though.

  • moshane58

Good to see all four up this week. Hope we keep the gaining for GH. We have had a battle keeping it on. Maybe this is a sign it will remain for years to come..

The thing is with these numbers why would SONY fire JFP her ratings are up for this Delia storyline. Reminds me of her higher numbers when She did the storyline on oltl with Jessica’s hit and run. JFP ain’t going nowhere lol.

  • robert

It’s great to see all the soaps doing well. Days was on fire. Y&R delivered amazing acting performances. Darin Brooks is my favorite actor on B&B.

  • jonboy

I don’t get the fascination over the headline either. Who cares? It will be interesting to see if GH maintains and grows. The past couple of days have been borrrrrrring again. I know you’ve got to stretch your imagination when watching but this nonsense of Heather constantly slipping out of a facility for the criminally insane is beyond ridiculous.

  • James

My fav part on GH right now is the Jerome/Conrinthos storyline. Love Ava and Julian/Derek. Also love seeing Roger Howarth on as well.

Y&R is hard to watch with teh current storyline, just depressing. But it’s…Billy Miller is bringing it right now. Love both soaps.

  • Scott_N_ATL

A force to be reckoned with as expected GH…keep it coming! I’m hooked!

  • Mike

Sign me up for one who gets tired of the griping over the headline. The headline is about drawing viewers to the thread…it is not a slight on any show. And it is not a slight against soaps if it focuses on the negative. No one has an agenda against soaps or against any show.

So glad to see Y&R and B&B recover after the big drops from last week.

  • Lynn

Lisa, B&B was up almost 500 K over last year; GH is up only 40,000. Huge difference. Pointing that out isn’t whining, any more than calling for this site to be more fair in the headlines it puts out each week is. It matters, jonboy, because the headlines are all a lot of the viewers of this site see. The don’t read any further than that. If GH and DAYS get the good headlines all the time, it gives an unfair picture of B&B and Y&R. Just asking for a level playing field here.

  • Tyson

Lynn, TVBTN doesn’t want a level playing field; it wants page views. If putting General Hospital in every soap-related headline draws the biggest audience, then GH will be in every headline.

  • Dillon

These are wonderful ratings for all of the soaps. DAYS has been my favorite for years, and it is on fire right now. I can’t wait for the November Sweeps centered around Kristen (Eileen Davidson) leaving. She is going to be fantastic, like she always is. That being said, I am loving GH and Y&R right now as well. The Delia storyline is real, and it brings out raw emotions in both the actors and the viewers. Lets support all of the soaps and keep all of them living on strong, for many years to come!!
