betrayal and wonderland.. dead shows running for ABC, yet they are furiously promoted still.

SCANDAL! :( ugh. weird ratings this season so far. and given that next week is halloween, it (and most of these shows) will probably decline again. boooo.

  • HB

    Damn TVD….continues to do well!

  • starship

Great news for TVD, Reign dropped 0.2 this week, but if it can hold on to that or climb to a 0.7, it’d be safe (for now). Also, TVD should be above OUATIW in the list above.

    @ JJA

Reign is so good. Like Nikita, it’s a well acted and produced show that can’t find its audience.

I hope they choose to renew it for 13 episode seasons. I think it could work better like that.

I totally agree with your statement :)

  • Gemma

LMAO! Scandal!! And the fall begins…..

    I am very pleased.

  • starship

Oh please, if anything is killing the line-up, it’s The Millers. The Crazy Ones is pretty steady week to week and would be doing much better than The Millers if it was behind BBT, in fact they should just move it there and allow it to grow. If CBS stick to 4 hours of comedy next year, I see The Crazy Ones making it over The Millers, if not both will probably be gone.

  • John A

Thats amazing for TVD. So proud of that show. Scandal losing its appeal. Dropping 4 tenths from last week is alot. TBBT has been stable for weeks.

  • Kelly

That’s great for TVD, very rare that a CW show gets adjusted up by more than a tenth, two tenths is amazing.

Very disappointing for Wonderland (again). It had the potential to work, the Once universe is a perfect set up for spin-offs, but it’s just fallen completely flat.

  • Gemma

And get ready folks, as Scandal ratings continue to fall, its delusional apologists will still hold on to the fact that it’s the number one show in its time slot. What a low bar. Trends matter way more than the actual numbers.

Scandal’s numbers last year were nothing special but it received publicity because it was steadily going up. Well it looks like the reverse is having now. From a 3.6 to a sub 3 rating in just a few weeks is quite pathetic.

But that’s the thing about fads, people move on very quickly.

  • Chase

Yes TVD adjusted up! Last nights episode was amazing, it deserves it! :D
That’s not good that TVD adjusted up .2 tenths and reign stayed the same.
I really hope the carried diaries can a least pull .3 tonight!

  • JJF

Not good for The Millers. CBS must be disappointed.

  • Kevin

Reign is far from being done. Out of the two brand new shows (Originals excluded), Reign is farrrrr better than the tomorrow people. I?was looking forward to TTP the most, but was disappointed at how boring and predictable it was. But, Reign surprised me in its premiere, and they definitely fixed some of the pilot issues to give a really good 2nd episode. All the actors seem more engaged and it’s beautifully shot, and has very intriguing storylines.

Lastly, I want people to stop saying xxx show is done esp after only 2 eps, you’re only making other people think “if it’s going to cancelled, then i won’t watch and get too invested”, which pretty much seals the show’s death.
If you don’t watch the show, don’t comment on it.

  • Candy

@Gemma, you’re just as sad as rob, whether it trends down or up, we’ll 100% see Scandal next season. That’s all a fan really wants, to see their show survive to die another day. What you’re doing is really quite pathetic, oh well, what would the world be without trolls? Oh yeah, less annoying.

  • Percysowner

So that means TVD is #1 and Supernatural is #2. Those shows just keep on going.

  • Restless

Very impressive for The Vampire Diaries :)

  • Jayson

    Very thrilled for Grey’s!

  • Maria

    Per Joe Adalian (@TVMoJoe)

“Among CW demo of A18-34, TVD ticked up to a 1.4, beating ABC+NBC by 40%”

“The bad news for CW? TVD did a 1.4 in A18-34…and REIGN collapsed to a 0.5.”

  • Wright

I agree with Kevin. Reign is far from done. It has a lot of potential. I think that it provides the network with variey which it needs. I like all of the new shows this season. Reign and TO are my favorites though.

  • mmel

The more time Jake is on screen, the more the ratings is going to go down. Scandal is a show that the fans built and anyone who believes that the core characters can be pushed aside for a new one ( a boring one at that) and a horrible triangle is just plain wrong.

TBBT adjusted up .3, as usual but what a nice surprise TVD adjusted to 1.3–WTG!!
