Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Bradley

I’d be much more comfortable if Parenthood would stay at a 1.5.

  • josh

once was so awesome last night I love Jafar

  • Ronald

Ouch for Reign hope it adjust up, but i doubt that… TVD did good! and nice to see GA up from last week!

  • DenverDean

That is so bizarre with Elementary -that it actually spiked up against World Series – especially since WS rating peaked in 10 PM hour.

  • tom

I think any show that is after The Vampire Diaries is screwed at this point or destined to get crappy ratings. The Secret Circle, BATB and now Reign…..

Just put ANTM there and inflate Tyra’s ego once again. It’s the least you can do for making her talk-show go nationwide on CW and making it flop like hell.

  • Wright

TVD and Reign are down by .2 just like Arrow and TTP were yesterday. I definately think they are being affected by the World Series. Reign was excellent last night. I think it’s better than TVD this year. Hopefully Reign adjusts up in the finals.

  • The 47th

Will it matter at all that Parenthood is NBC’s highest original program of the night?

  • Trevor Lloyd

There is nothing wrong with The Big Bang Theory. It mostly always gets adjusted up 0.3 tenths

  • Ted Craig

A number of comments have attributed lower numbers for some shows to competition from the World Series. If that were true, shouldn’t programs like Two and a Half Men and Duck Dynasty be suffering the most?

  • Clarke

Surprised The Millers fell that much. Big Bang Theory will be adjusted up, amazing numbers against the World Series.

OUATIW is doing terrible. I guess I am not the only one who forgot to watch it last night. The show just isn’t “must-see” TV.

  • Bee

nice for grey’s and scandal! i was totally worried they would do worse considering how down this week has been.

the crazy ones still hasn’t stopped slipping :/

  • CBSviewer

Still good for The Millers and The Crazy Ones !

  • Markitos

    go Grey’s! :D

  • Patrick Ausgewahlt

Big Bang Theory had the same exact preliminaries as last week. I expect at least a 2 if not 3 point adjustment.

  • Dochas

I could almost feel bad for Wonderland but I don’t. Does anyone remember Last Resort’s ratings, 3-4 episodes in?

  • Avery

    bye bye Reign

  • buttondiet

The Crazy Ones still hasn’t stabilized :/

  • Michael1

I think the ratings speak for themselves. Fox needs to cancel the World Series games where the Cardinals win, and show more games where the Red Sox win.

    /sarcasm

  • Anne

Reign will grow in next week, i wait!

  • Ted Craig

Reign still did twice the numbers of Beauty and the Beast.
