You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

God, fate is mean to me.

The first time in a million years that I have ever watched and enjoyed CBS comedy (The Crazy Ones) and of course it has to be the one CBS comedy that is suffering.

  • Rachel

Once in Wonderland will be cancelled soon.

Reign needs to maintain a 0.6 and above to stay out of danger. CW has two midseason shows waiting in the wings that will probably pair better with TVD.

  • Billiam

My daughter already wants me to whip up a computer virus to send to ABC when they do cancel Wonderland… LOL. I hope they give it all 13 episodes and tie it up like they did with Last Resort last year…

The ONLY thing that will save Wonderland is moving it to Sunday, next to Once Upon A Time (9pm) and moving Revenge to 10 pm.

  • Trevor Lloyd

No new episode of TBBT next week which I am happy about due to it being Halloween

  • Bearhunter

NBC logic: let’s get Michael J Fox to star in a family sitcom and then put it on at 930 eastern when a lot of kids can’t watch it.

  • tahina

Elementary needs a new night. Good show but something is missing, hmm. Yey for Grey’s! :)

  • JJA

I knew last week’s Elementary numbers were just a fluke due to sports competition.

On the other hand, Vampire Diaries and Reign were NOT affected by the world Series. Arrow & The Tomorrow People may have been, but the CW’s Thursday shows are marketed to young girls, who would not care too much about baseball.

Which means Reign is in trouble.

  • SJ

So, so, wait… Parks and Rec was preempted for a Voice REPEAT? Not an original show that could actually goose up SSTW and MJF’s ratings? Who is running that network?!

  • Wright

    Time to renew Revolution :)

  • KC

When you score a “season-low” 3.0, I think you are doing okay.

I don’t understand how people think viewership of the World Series couldn’t have affected TVD and Reign. Every girl/women I know loves baseball and watches the World Series, but that could also be because I live in STL. We are diehard baseball fans here. Go Cards!!!!

  • KimmelKanyeWest

I don’t understand what NBC was thinking with their comedies. How often does it work to bring back stars from another decade?

They also do a great disservice to their comedies. Their comedies needed a reboot, but why wouldn’t you order a full season of a show like Community where the syndication deal covers some of the costs. They pulled a 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 routinely against TBBT. Since you are not going to launch a new comedy, that’s not bad. Use your other slots to develop comedies on other nights and if it happens that you have too many hits (very unlikely with NBC), you can put that shot on Thursday and end Parks and Community. Now that Welcome to the Family is gone, Sean Saves the World will be canceled soon, and the Michael J Fox will be cancelled after their full season order, you only have 13 episodes of Community as your returning show. It doesn’t make sense.

I surprisingly enjoyed Reign, ive seen the actress in Teen Wolf, she is much better in this :) the entire cast is very good actually.

  • Gemma

The season is still young. Many people are now saying that this season of Scsndal is bad/boring. There might be a lag in ratings due to the previous hype but eventually, the ratings will fall back to the mid to low 2s.

  • Mark Wilkins

Baseball and Football do not have that much of a ratings affect on the lifetime shows for ABC/CW since the majority of viewers are female 18-49. The percentage that watch sports is too small.

  • david

TVD still did good and Reign ell as most shows do in the second week.

  • Arya

    @the old man
My thoughts exactly the last 2 mornings. I know way too many young baseball fans and ladies well. being apart of cards nation is a family tradition that’s started at birth. I’m sure the red sox are the same.

  • JaneDoe24

Scandal will be back up next week just like before.

  • JaneDoe24

I don’t think this season of Scandal is boring, but I didn’t like that Olivia being outed was so short-lived. I trust that Shonda will have the show picking up steam soon.

  • Brandy

Ouch at VD,Reign,Scandal dropping, though VD is stil ok.Ihope VD & Reign (Reign especially ) adjust up.Ouch too at Wonderland, I like it but ..
