NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  • Charmed

    Noooooooooooo Carrie Diaries :(

  • mando

    Dracula would be a hit.

  • k:Alex

First non-voice / football night NBC wins.
Fix Wednesday and they are back in the game.

  • Mitchell

    Solid from Grimm.

  • Brad

Carrie did as good as Beast!

  • Hayley

    The Carroe diaries :(

  • Joseph

Oh, “Grimm” is still going strong. Good. Coming out of it and retaining that entire rating, “Dracula” looks like a straight-up anomaly! Would would have thought? Genre shows would do better on Friday nights than other NBC nights.

  • Dillan

TCD did okay. It’s a Friday show now, so The CW’s expectations are obviously going to be lower.

  • Matt

Woah at Grimm and Dracula. Didn’t think Dracula would premiere that high in the demo. 100% retention in the demo, and topped the 10PM hour.

WOW at Shark Tank in viewers! Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that series high in total viewership?

  • ragincajun

You didn’t happen to mention that Dracula lost a pretty sizeable chuck of its audience at the half hour mark!!!! I wouldn’t call that particulary “solid”.

    10:00 Viewers: 5.67 million (#3), A18-49: 1.9/ 6 (#1)

    10:30 Viewers: 4.89 million (#3), A18-49: 1.7/ 6 (#1)

  • paddii

I was actually hoping for TCD to keep it’s Monday ratings. That would’ve saved the show from getting canceled.

  • Esdru

Watching the pathetic TCD return… Renew Nikita!!!!

  • Hayley

I hope TCD Will get up it deserves better!
    :(

  • Charmed

Actually, at a second look, TCD kinda did not too bad considering the night it’s on, not too much of a drop from last season when it was on a regular week night. What did it get W18-34?

  • K

BYE Carrie Diaries and BATB, renew Reign, Tomorrow People and Originals CW!!!!!

  • tommie

TCD is even with Beast’s Monday performance. Not a surprising performance.

Grimm and Dracula is a rock-solid pairing. We’ll see if viewers stick around next week.

  • Ashley

For NBC and a Friday, Grimm and Dracula are hits!

  • Markitos

Good for Dracula. I liked it.

  • SHERI

5-0 remains steady and awesome !

  • Dave

The CW should have never renewed TCD for S2.

Either way, Shelly be strutting her way right to the cancellation bear :D
