If TCD doesn’t go below a 0.3, I can actually see it getting a 3rd season. There must have been a reason why The CW renewed the show in the first place with the bad ratings it was getting on Monday’s, it must be making some sort of money.

  • John A

    Great start for Dracula.

  • TJ

Yay! I’m glad Grimm and Dracula didn’t drop.

  • s0303

good for grimm and dracula …finally i have something to watch on fridays…

  • AllOfHerTw!st

    Go H50!

  • John A

The ABC Comedies didnt repeat bad. I suppose viewers didnt expect repeats so early and tuned in anyway. Great for Shark Tank.

  • Mon

Great! Poop Bloods 3rd at 10pm.

  • John A

So will Dracula only have 10 episodes for season 1? Or could it get extra episodes?

  • JJA

    @Dillan–I agree in part.

In this age of Netflix producing “TV shows” for online viewing only, I can see The Carrie Diaries getting a 3rd season, so long as it makes an overall profit when online streaming is calculated.

  • Tony JJ

Dracula will only have 10 episodes for its first season but can be picked up for more seasons.

  • AllOfHerTw!st

In before Randy throws a wet blanket on H50!

  • George

    Dracula….NOT AGAIN!!!!

  • Wright

Good for Grimm and Dracula. I’m not trying to be mean, but TCD should never have been renewed. I’m just speaking from a ratings perspective.

  • CBSviewer

Good for Dracula ! I thought it would be a flop but I was wrong.

  • Martin

If Dracula is a success, which it is too early to tell, could Dateline possibly move to another weeknight next fall, maybe even saturdays, and a new scifi/horror/genre show or maybe even Revolution take its place and make a genre night. What do people think, could that happen?.

  • Alan

TCD was renewed because of online viewing, and other things I don’t remember. That’s why it got renewed over Emily Owens M.D., because although EOMD had bigger ratings, it wasn’t doing well online. Besides, TCD has a younger audience that watches the show online more than they do it live.

TCD does well online, and CW also cares for online viewing instead of just live ratings.

  • John A

Ok but could future seasons of Dracula be 22 episodes or just 10 episodes.

  • Kate

Glad Grimm didn’t adjust down! Although I’m interested to see what it gets this week.

If it comes down between TC and BATC for renewal, I’m giving it to TCD.

  • anonymous

I cant see TCD getting another season. Less than 1 million viewers and less than 0.5 is not good, CW or no CW and even on Friday nights.

  • Charmed

TCD held up, I’m happy. It did the same as BATB, and it has other factors on its side like Friday, online viewing…

BTW I watch both TCD and BATB
